HI
I take Public transit as much as i can. I am 18 and still have yet to get a drivers license. I proably wont get a license. I am starting to become a tree hugger i guess.

Anyways I find public transit very convient. If i had a car i would still probably take public transit as i wont have to pay thousands if the engine in the car breaks or something like that.

I take the MBTA when i want to go to boston like once a week. I live in brockton Ma, and i take the BAT to get around Brockton. :D Its only a dollar to get to the bat station and i get a coupon that is valid for 1 hour to go somewhere else in brockton for free. :D

I work in a busy city centre,Glasgow, where driving is a nightmare and I take the train
every day.The trains are usually packed like sardine cans and I rarely get a seat.Only
consolation it's still less stressful than driving and I can put up with the 20 minute journeys.
When I'm not working at weekends or when it's less busy I prefer the trains anyway.

Is when you are getting on the inner -city metro , the guy (bum) says "I'am sorry about making a mess in your bathroom!" to the bus driver when there is aparently no bathroom on the bus.

As I don't drive (yet anyway) I use public transport all the time. Though mainly trains not busses, which the ones I go on are really comfortable, usually I go on the train at the weekend. But having to take a bus to the hospital the other day and seeing the types of people on the bus made me reconsider getting a drivers licence.

I know cigarette smoke, but how do illegal aliens smell?

The only time I took a bus was when I was in Hawaii w/ my grandmother. Over there the bus isn't crap. In San Antonio, public transit isn't worth five cents to me. Taking a bus from my old house to my college campus would take 2 hours ONE WAY.

No, if I can avoid it. In my city, the service is very limited in my area(practally nonexhistant), and what service they do have is HORRIBLE. Their drivers a very rude, and drive like maniacs. I would rather walk 5 miles than take the bus. As for a taxi, that is far worse.

Nope. The only option we have around here are buses and after taking a public bus to and from high school for 4 years, I made a sacred vow to never do so again.

I live in Central London and public transport is, beside riding a bicycle, the only reasonable way to get around, even the tube is a horror to use in the rush hour, it is for me the best way to get anywhere in this city when I am in hurry. When I have enough time, I prefer to use the bus.

The importance of the tube can be seen best on strike day of the tube, when London come close to a standstill.

I live 3 hrs from civilisation aka. the city so I catch the train regularly. I also have to catch buses from the city to my sisters house or other places.
At first I was nervous about using public transport, because it was doing something different and I didn't want to end up in the middle of nowhere, because I still didn't know how to read train/bus timetables. It's still a bit of a fear, but I just ask people where the trains/buses are going.

Not on a day-to-day basis but I fear I will have to in the future from the ages of 16 to 18 (at 18 I'll get myself a DeLorean).

My school has a tram system, and I use it, because parking spaces are impossible to find. Be prepared to stand in the aisles during peak hours, though.

I take the bus every day. I also use trains sometimes, as well as the underground and the tram. Not at all a problem.

For someone who will freak out over walking, this normal ability to use public transportation is probably totally weird. But what can I say, it's just the way it is.
