My special interest is this man right here:

I absolutely love him. He's charming, he's sweet, he's secretly a prince and he's the most perfect man on the planet. I'll disagree with anyone who claims to disagree with me by the way. >:D

Other special interests include:

Writing
Pokemon
Doctor Who
Alice in Wonderland
Trains

LOL Loki...if you like the guy, you like the guy.

Hey Kicker, what do you think of the "Thinker?" I find that to be what I wish my self-portrait would be.

Are you referring to the bronze statue by Auguste Rodin? I've always liked that one. And I did look at the Hellenistic statues, they were superbly done. Though if you want your portrait done exactly like the thinker you would need to be comfortable going nude and find an artist who doesn't mind doing nudes. You could always look for a local art group that are looking for models, (you don't have to be a model in appearance) to have a portrait done. Here in Atlanta there are a few groups that do nude work (sketches mostly), that are always looking for different people to sit.

Thanks for the ideas.

LOL...I'm not ready to do a nude self-portrait as of yet. Maybe when I'm old and oblivious :D

I have some difficulty (though less than previously) looking at myself in pictures.

Well having a portrait done isn't for everyone. :)

at the moment--relational frame theory and derivations in cognition (mostly language),
programmed cell death in asd and functional motor learning in cerebral palsy, subdivisions of apraxias and patterns of speech-language 'NOS' dxs in preschool kids (neuroscience)
error correcting procedures in ABA
license plates, snowploughs and air crash investigations...and my dearest sweetest number 9
