I asked my mother what percent of her offline eggspressions of empathy were fake, and she said >95%.
I bet lots of such things on wp are fake too.

Careful m8, you'll probably tip Sweetleaf over the egg, sorry, edge.

My mum will tell her friend how much she loved her presents, despite finding all of them hideous, cheap, and/or unsuitable. This is what most people do: they lie through their back teeth to avoid hurting other people's feelings.

I once got a pm correcting each of my egg words in a post, and the person said that they hate misspelled words, but they misspelled several words in the pm.

Fark grappar and smelling! They can go die in the bbq eggsplosion at the end of final destination 2 or whatever number it was.

I also hate the behavior of looking up the dictionary definitions of words during debates, as if the word and the more words used to define the word are end-all, be-all of non-verbal concepts, or that the word means what the dictionary says in all uses. The only good thing about it is that it is at least not huggywuggy love love love.

Well...I like empathy! I think it promotes creativity. And it's real more than half the time. And it preserves our species. Without it, we'd be extinct.

I think it's cool and nice, too. And it feels pleasant, too!

Howabout that?

But I still love youse guys!

Addendum: Yeah, I backed out---I shoulda know there are under 18's here. I was wrong to use that much profanity.

I am not huggy wuggy by nature, and in the past, I have been renowned for being blunt and 'mean' at times, but honestly, I would rather strive to be a decent and kind person who brings happiness to others, than seek to bring other people down, especially people who probably already struggle enough as it is in their real lives. I have plenty of chips on my shoulder, but I feel no need to repeatedly flick them all over the threads on this site. I prefer them with a side of ketchup anyway. :P

+1

That is so well worded I would not want to waste the energy on finding a way to word it better.

For the rest I'll keep me gob shut as subtlety is not my forte

capitalization can apply cacti in the rectum also. why use two alphabets if you can use only one? if one can make a post and register, one can understand uncapitalized posts.

peeps like b9 and hyper have/had the right idea. no such thing as "proper" grammar for everyday usage.

Well better watch out for the Catman than, since I think he's got a bit of a score to settle with the wolfman.

Empathy is fine if it's real. I don’t care too much for others, so you'll rarely see it from me.

Things like 'Merry Christmas' and 'have a good day' mean nothing to me, so I rarely say those.
