I was afraid of the moon, the planets, the "institutional green" color, and the Gerber Baby until my early teen years. I used to think of the Gerber Baby as Death Incarnate (though I didn't know the term then).

My phobias are quite common: Arachnophobia - which IS getting better + Claustrophobia, especially provoked in small rooms like toilets and ELEVATORS!(OMG). I´m not too keen on entering a house with modern lock systems either, unless I see people coming in and out all the time.
As a kid, I had several strange ones, like window knobs and EYES and cars that couldn´t start...those were alive as far as I understood.

As a kid I was scared of anything and everything. I couldn't go down slides, couldn't go high on a swing, couldn't swim or ride a bike...Pretty much ruined my childhood. I had a phase where I was scared to walk down stairs and had to scoot down them on my bottom. I also had an extreme aversion to graffiti, and couldn't even go on a play structure if there was graffiti on it.

Thankfully I'm better now, but am still scared of heights, deep water, you name it.
