Yes, but only a few selected brands: Pepsi, Coke (to an extent), 7-Up, Sprite. HATE Dr. Pepper taste, always have and never will have it again. Hate "orange" sodas like Fanta. #1 is Pepsi for me, I like the taste of it more than Coca-Cola as it's cold, but not completely sweet like Coca-Cola. I make sure to ONLY have 1 12-oz can of some soft drink a day. I don't drink down a 1-liter Pepsi in 1 day...I go 12-16 oz at a time.
Absolutely hate diet sodas as they are even worse than regular sodas.
Funny story - I used to have caffeine-free Pepsi (non-diet) for years, from elementary to probably 7th grade. If I had regular Pepsi I would get too hyperactive due to the caffeine. Caffeine-free tasted exactly the same as regular Pepsi, but I had no ADHD-like-symptoms to deal with. Jumping up and down everywhere, etc. After about 7th or 8th grade, normal Pepsi was just fine.

That's the way I feel about caffeine free sodas. There's no way that I can tell if a soda has caffeine or not, but diet is just like a smack in the ass how godawful it tastes. I avoid diet like the plague.

If you compare American carbonated drinks to European carbonated drinks, American drinks are painfully fizzy.

I like carbonated drinks, especially a cold Coke, sparkling water and Fanta. While I do like Coke, I don't like Pepsi or Diet Coke; Pepsi isn't flavourful enough for me, and Diet Coke is just 'meh'.

Do you guys like the effects of caffeine?

That's another huge pro to soda. I drink water, Redbull, tea, and Mountain Dew.

I've unconsciously self-medicated with caffeinated beverages for years for my ADHD, but I've found that energy drinks in particular make me extremely irritable and anxious. Nowadays, I stick to coffee, tea, yerba mate, cola, and Mountain Dew. The first three are arguably much healthier, and the latter two just aren't as highly caffeinated.

Asdfghjkl no :? The fizziness makes my mouth feel like it's on fire and most of the flavors are really artificial and unhealthy anyways

I do occasionally like this one Mexican pineapple soda though...
I think the fizziness is maybe less intense and also the flavor tastes more natural
