I hardly care for being "socially appropriate" but the lack of a filter and my general fast paced nature can make verbal communication difficult. Worst verbal experience I've had is when I get a sort of word block and mutter inaudible sets of characters which carry no meaning what so ever. Better that then swearing like a sailor in frustration I suppose :) (which I've done in my head before)

I've actually sworn like a sailor to people on many occasions.

it hardly bothers me. I just prefer a more creative approach to it. More fun to leave them confused, course I could say that of most of the people I deal with on a daily basis. Also adds more meaning for whenever I want to send them a message directly

Me too, especially at my parents.
