I also carry around an assortment of items. Mostly they're small stuffed animals and stim toys like Tangle toys or fidgets. I also have a chewable pendant I like to wear just so I have something to chew on. I also have a die cast car named Susie and a Calico Critters cat that a therapist gave me - I like fuzzy, flocked toys that I can run my fingers over.

The small stuffed animals I usually carry around are Dory, a dolphin, Oh the Boov from "Home," and some Disney Tsum Tsums. I sleep better when I have them with me, and they serve as a distraction from my loneliness, depression and anxiety. My Tangle toys and fidgets also divert my dermatillomania/BFRB tendencies.

The Itty Bitty dolls you can get at Hallmark are also nice comfort objects - I have a small collection of those, as well as of Tsum Tsums. I like small plushies that are still cute and cuddly, yet portable and easily concealed. :)

I used to have many comfort objects since I was younger. But when I was in high school till now, I carry with me a thesaurus everywhere I go.

I always have a washcloth that I carry with me. If I get really anxious, it soothes me for some reason to hold it.

If I go into public without my baseball cap I feel naked.
Also I used to always wear a thick jacket even in the bus during the summer, makes me feel safe.

I always carry my phone with me although almost nothing ever happens. In the colder times of year, I like to carry the hoodie from my previous High School, because it reminds me of all the great memories and all the great friends I had. Other times just carrying my backpack would make me feel more comfortable.

Muh folding knife (blade a little under 4"); well, one of them.

I have a fear of being bound and unable to free myself. Hence, knife.

I don't know if they're comfort objects, but I always carry a hairband, hair clip, safety pin, gloves and a tissue with me. I also see my husband as being my security blanket and don't go into any social situation without him.

I don't carry comfort items with me and I never have. Maybe I should.

I still suck a dummy/pacifier when I go to bed but that is if I'm feeling really really insecure. Not often these days.
