You wear a hoodie and dark sunglasses? You live in a shack in the woods and write unintelligible manifestos?

Or you are just quiet and observant and that creeps people out. After all, "it's always the quiet ones."

Of course, it helps if you're mildly creepy. Don't worry, I've been told I would make a good serial killer.

Let's see:
 Hoodie and dark sunglasses? Yes.
 Living in a shack in the woods? No.
 Writing unintelligible manifestos? No. (All my posts and even my PSOTS make some sort of sense)
 Quiet and observant? Yes
 Would I make a good cereal killer? No. I prefer ham and eggs. :P :P :P

When I was in high school, I was voted "most likely to become a sniper."

Um... stupid question: What is a PSOT?

It's one of Unknown's words. The opposite of post (I really don't know what that intones, but that's what he says). Some people love it, some people hate it, and I believe the majority of us just ignore it.

I suppose I must seem weird inasmuch as various derivations of that get back to me fairly often.

Psot!

Depends what setting you put me in. Social setting with 4 or more people, I would say fairly weird.
Business setting just a little weird but only after a period of time. Initially I can pass myself off as an NT but its all cognitive work to do so. After awhile, I will get mentally exhausted playing the NT social game.
Put in envirements that require weeks or months of exposure, I go to moderatly weird. Lack of understanding body language is a big contributer.

i've always interpreted it as some sort of tribute to dislex-y?-ia?-ie?can't find the proper suffix-
i was never taught to be dislectic but i notice that i type a lot of words, like post, where you've got a voyel and two consonants at the end, wrong, i correct it always immediately and never had any trouble at school but well i do notice it.

Yes, I get that as well. I just don't get what it's about - I don't think I say anything weird or unusual, but clearly something sets them off. :?

I can never tell whether it's what I said or the way I said it :? Or maybe I just look funny.
It always makes me nervous though so I end up thinking about it for ages afterwards, trying to work out what I did wrong

From what I've noticed these days, I appear odd in that, most person(s) within the NT world are not able to fully understand my quirk nor mannerisms however, this has not meant all people have looked upon me with strange looks only that some individuals have neither taken the time nor shown the patience to learn about members of the Autistic community like myself.

Honestly, I could care less how someone views me for, I'm still a human being regardless so, simply allow the common decency for others to simply be themselves within this world.

I don't think I was ever really viewed as weird. As a matter of fact, people probably thought of me as too uptight, especially about grades and doing well in school. I was probably also thought of as klutzy and immature.

I don't think I act weird but people are always telling me that I do. This gets more frequent as I get to know people and start to act myself rather than putting on an act. For example, I was talking to a guy and saying that I had to phone someone and don't you just hate having to talk on the phone? He was like "What are you talking about?" and I explained that I've always hated talking on phones and I'd quite happily never phone anyone again. At that point he looked totally freaked out and said "You're so weird". Now, I don't know about you, but I really can't see how saying you hate phones is weird. If he thinks that is weird he should see me and my boyfriend when we're together. We talk total shite at times. :-)

There have been times in my life when I have been extremely weird. These were usually related to stress and depression.

In high school I was jokingly voted "Most likely to be described as a quiet loner on national news."

During my Navy years, my caffeine intake rose to where I was averaging about 2 hours of sleep per night for weeks at a time.

I was fired from two different jobs because teenage girls I worked with thought I was a predator. You couldn't have paid me to go out with either of them.

Extensive psychotherapy has worked wonders for me, and I am now a happy, flaky freak. I was introducing myself to the new hires at work when of the women I work with warned them "Watch out for him. He's a charmer."

I'm still significantly strange, but now it's in a fun and non-threatening way.
