I'd get rid of all the bad stuff if they had a cure to do just that, like panic attacks, language problems, lack of understanding of humans ect... but not everything like the good stuff(memorizing stuff or personality ect)
a selffish cure 8)

They should get cures like that for NTs who are f***ed up in one way or another as well.
And Aspie17, you must have some good traits.

I wouldn't even think for a second about this.
I'd say yes in the blink of an eye.
AS is nothing but a curse to me.

It's not your AS. It's society. If the majority of the population had AS, then your life would be easier.

I haven't been diagnosed with AS, but if it turns out I do have AS. I would lke to be able to turn down the obsessions a bit. Some are interests that I can edge in without effecting me but there are obsessions that disrupt my sleep and life big time. So just mainly to tone down the fanatical interests and more social.

Exactly. I wish I could cure everyone else of neurotypical syndrome.

It's a very double-edged 'gift' with many trade-offs. When things are going well, naturally I love my AS. When things go wrong - specifically things that I know are directly because of AS, I do dislike it. But you can't hate it, because hating it would be to hate yourself and who you are, which is really unhealthy. Forget cures, forget self-pity and self-hate, just live and make the best of things.
