Matter of fact, the people here in my town would just say "Ass Burger-WHAT???"

There is practically no awareness about AS whatsoever.

I have 2 Assburger cousins in eastern TN. You are not alone. And hey I was there last week. What more do you want?!?

Ew, I was just about to eat but I'm not hungry anymore! I know of no one outside of my own family who obviously has AS. Within my family, I have a diagnosed uncle, an autistic cousin, and a grandfather who clearly had AS. From my point of view it is definately hereditary.

That leads me to another thought... Assuming AS is hereditary, given the tendency of Aspies not to involve themselves in romantic relationships and thus be less likely to reproduce, would that limit the number of Aspies being born, akin to the process of natural selection?

I know my theory is a generalization - sorry - but it makes sense to me.

If this agument is correct, there had been a time in which aspies abounded...
I guess our number is growing fast.

There are a few communities where the prevalence is much higher than average. Silicon Valley for one. Mine is another though I don't know any of them. Tech towns and college towns.

I see one aspie and an autistic man almost daily..the latter lives in the same road as me. Not sure if he is LF or HF to be honest...he spoke to me once as I dropped a pound and he sounded EXACTLY like Mr Bean, no kidding. He has definitely noticed me and have caught him staring at me several times...maybe he realises I am struggling or something. Never tried to talk to him...he is certainly more severely affected than myself. He wears the same clothes but they are really dirty and he weighs things over and over again. The other...well, the other has been an object of my obsession for 9 months.

I don't know,
if I did I wouldn't care anyway.
That's the point of the line you fall below,
if they knew,
would they care anyway?
