Right now I'm coaching little league baseball.

I said 'no' because it's just not something I can do. I can assist, but leading the team. Pfft.

But no coach stepped forward save one, and he hasn't shown up for any of the games yet (albeit only 2). I have someone helping, but it's damned scary. I don't want to let my Autism get in the way of the kids being able to play baseball.

I don't know that there is any way I could successfully lead a practice though.

I guess I'm lucky so far in that it's just a house league team and there hasn't been any issues with the players or their parents.

I have an interest in Japanese culture, and by that I don't mean that I'm one of those annoying weeaboos who watches anime all the time (I actually despise anime and manga because I don't view it as a realistic portrayal of real Japanese culture).

I have a fascination with the actual culture itself. Like for example the geishas were interesting to me because Westerners always viewed them as harlots but in the actual culture itself they were simply entertainers and were viewed as being honorable unlike a harlot (which Japan did have plenty of those too). To be a geisha you had to be very intelligent and know a lot about the world in order to keep your customers entertained with stimulating conversations. Geishas would serve food and drinks but they also performed songs and dances and while some geishas did have sex with their customers some were actually married women. Sex wasn't the main focus of their job they were simply supposed to keep their customers entertained and happy in a variety of ways.

Another thing that fascinates me are the female warriors called onna bugeisha. Even though you see a lot of female ninjas on TV there really weren't any female "kunoichi" in Japan but they did actually have warrior women who were like an equivalent to samurai. They trained in a variety of fighting styles and fought alongside samurai warriors in battle.

Another thing I find interesting is the xenophobia and racism in Japan. I know it sounds weird because I am strongly against that kind of thing, but to this day anybody in Japan who isn't a Japanese citizen gets viewed as a second classes citizen rather you are American or from another Asian country like China or Korea. On the one hand I can understand why they feel that way because Japan is their country and they don't want to loose it to foreigners, but on the other hand it makes me appreciate my own American country because we are actually more accepting and tolerant of foreigners moving here. We may have a lot of racist idiots but for the most part foreigners can live here with no problem. I guess it kind of makes up for the fact that we stole this land from the people who were here first so we have made it to where almost anybody can live here. That's why we are a true melting pot of cultures.

There's a lot of other things that fascinate me about Japan and I would love to get the chance to visit the country one day. :D

I have a lot of special interests, one of my favourites is music. I listen to music every day, all genres though mostly music from the 1980s. As well as listening to music I also sing and I also write my own music from my own songs to instrumental piano ballads :)

I started singing when I was fourteen and formed a band when I was at school with my two friends Sena and Victoria. We were called Sunshine :) We weren't bad either and performed covers of songs for our class, back then I was a lot more confident than I am now. So music is definitely one of my favourite special interests.

I have a special interest with art as well. I love drawing and colouring in  Drawing has always been exciting for me and I used to spend hours doing it.
Another special interest of mine is the Titanic, I love it, love it! I find the whole ship and sinking really interesting...

And lastly styling my hair is a special interest of mine. I love brushing it in front of the mirror until I'm really happy with it, like my avatar. I could spend hours doing my hair

And my last special interests are writing stories, cooking and taking pictures :)

I collect 1980s nostalgia, specifically video games and Transformers. I currently have just over 2000 games and around 500 Transformers, all categorized by release year, system and alphabetically on shelves and in display cabinets.

I also have a special interest in certain types of video games and horror movies and comedies. The Golden Girls is my absolute favorite show of all time and I have every episode memorized and there probably isn't much you could tell me about the characters and actresses that I don't already know about.

When I was a kid my special interests were things like TV, vid games & then music. Then it was spending time on computer looking at porn. Then it was my 1st girlfriend & after we broke up it was looking for a new girlfriend. Then it became a mega huge crush obsession on the iCarly star, Miranda Cosgrove while still looking for a new girlfriend. Then it became my 2nd girlfriend & then after she broke up with me it became looking for a new girlfriend while crushing on Miranda again. Then when I got my current girlfriend it was mostly just focusing on her like it was with both my exes. But then the crush on Miranda came back but Cass is also still a special interest. I know the two are kind of a conflict.

Same here! :D I still remember when I watched the James Cameron movie at the cinema. The audience response was electrifying. I still have recurring dreams about that ship to this day.

OMG - I love The Golden Girls!! ! I've been praying for it to get a regular slot on free-to-air TV for ages. One of the few comedies from the past that holds up amazingly well. I think I love Miami because of those girls.

Betty White is one of my favorite actresses. She shares a passion of mine-animals.
