That would have been me too.

I had to go away for the weekend not to long ago. I was kind of mess, not wanting to be there, not knowing anyone, etc.

Most of the weekend was spent in a large room where I was sitting with 27 other people. While the speaker was droning on, I began bouncing my leg, rocking, and spinning my apple and had been for quite some time. When I "came to" and realized, at least half or more of the people in there were staring.. and they had already thought I was weird..

Last Friday while working as receptionist at work, the owner asked me to get someone on his cell phone. the person worked in an office in another state, and when I looked up his number, it was the same area code as ours. Since the other state has an area code that's one number off from ours, I thought I misread it so I tried that and it didn't work. But it really was an area code from our city. So I called it and got his voice mail. Instead of leaving a message to call the boss, I hung up & went and asked the boss if he wanted me to leave a message.

One time me and an ex friend were at a fundraiser concert type thing for our boxing club at the time. We were back stage and my friends step mum thanked me for coming along (it was my friends dads club) and since it was the first we actually talked (or rather she talked to me) she put out her hand out to shake mine ...

I still cringe when I replay this in my mind.

I stood there hands at my sides .... *cringe f*****g cringe* ... eyes moving from her outstretched hand to the expression of her face,my head was just like a yoyo moving from her hand to her face. I just couldn't figure out what the hand was out for ... I knew but I didn't respond. Anyway after about 40-60 seconds of this and my friend and his step mum smirking/giggling at me I finally shook her hand.

Dear God I am a fool and a half. Unfortunately this is one of many many many bloody incidents that my brain will never let me forget.

I have one everyday. My mom says I am just selfish and maybe I am.
