Oooh they're gorgeous :D:D Agreeing with IrishEyes and DingoDv on the identification. I'm certain the second is a nursery web, although the first does look rather like some variant of a wolf spider. What they are NOT are brown recluses. There are no dangerous spiders anywhere in the UK. These guys are totally harmless, and likely happier out of your house, so catch them with a glass and paper and put them in the garden.

As for the hobo (tegenaria agrestis), in Europe it is outcompeted by t. gigantea, the giant house spider. You won't get hoboes in your house if you live in Ireland; they're only found in remoter agricultural areas (agrestis does not mean "aggressive" but is from the Latin "ager" meaning "field").

Yeah I think your right DingoDv, on second thoughts the first one has no palps. The picture is actually very clear, someone said it looked blurred.

Hmm...I wonder what it could be :? I will post it up on an Irish forum and see what others say, and get back to you.
