I have that problem too. I had a meltdown yesterday at work and slammed my head repeatedly into a metal pole. A lady came out to ask if I was alright, it was humiliating. It's just part of our disability, something we have to deal with, but it doesn't make us stupid. Your mom shouldn't have called you that.

I hope you feel better soon OP. Meltdowns do suck, they're not nice, I've had them myself, keep on keeping on and don't let anyone bring you down. You're not stupid. You're not stupid.
