Arguing and wrestling and failing with my diabetes test kit, wailing all the while.
Problem: I don't bleed in the morning, you could stab me with a machete, I don't bleed.
Problem: Every time I try, the reading goes higher.
Solution: Zip this fallacious gizmo back into its packet and eat.

I guess I am missing something.

If she is a professional writer, and is having writer's block at the moment, then just writing the sentence "I have writer's block" is not "ironic".

If she published an award winning poem about the agonies of having writer's block then that would be ironic.

Having writer's block and writing a comment in a post. I assumed it was a joke.

I thought Claradoon made the joke and I just noticed it! I was quite chuffed with myself as I normally miss them. The old "where's/wears the soap" joke took me a good 10 years to figure out :)

I saw it differently. I didn't think Claradoon was joking but you pointed out how it could be irony. I am now totaly confused

I embarrisingly asked my mum to explain to me the "wears the soap" joke
