I could only on the first taking of the test answer questions that I could qualify.

Anyway, question '13. I would rather go to a library than to a party' ~ involves the library as being quiet with low social activity, and by contrast ~ a party as being loud with high socially activity.

Does your AQ test scre range from 29-40?

Me? Pretty much. Scored 33-41 when taking it normal, when using the "SplendidSnail" method of taking it, scored 29.

Yes, I have a similar problem with the museum or movie question. Depends very much on which museum and which movie. I'd pick a good museum over a bad movie, or a good movie over a bad museum.

All else being equal though, I do think museum over movie. I'd pick a really good museum over a really good movie, or a really bad museum over a really bad movie.

But rarely is all else equal, so this question is really close.

^^ I used to have an all hours access pass to the library of congress, everyone would joke it was as if I had died and gone to my very own idea of heaven, so unless it is a party where either Nietzsche or Bukowski were present and totally alone and bored in a corner and willing to talk to me all night, I would choose the library.... but then if it were "that" party (with either present) I would go to the party.

I can't get away from the feeling that taking that test is like one of those glossy magazine tests about finding your perfect pet or dream job or something. It feels highly unscientific.

And the movie.... well, is it is a nice quiet daytime showing where I am alone in the dark watching something I am really enjoying, by myself, versus being crowded and pushed about by hoards at the Tate modern?

42. as a kid it would certainly be near 50.

With the 42 I did adjust my answers for things that I am aware of as an issue but believe some susceptibility is still present.

My AQ test also ranges from 29-40's. The SplendidSnail method is an idea (©SplendidSnail2018  ) to take the AQ test as meticulously as you can without downright lying. That time I was able to score 29, although the truth may have been stretched a little too far :) . I like the idea, though.

The first time I did (when I didn't even know High Functioning Autism or Asperger's even existed) the test I scored 37. Other times I did the test normally, I scored anywhere from 33 to 41.

One time I did the test deliberately trying to score as low as I could without outright lying, and that time I scored 29.

I did that back in 2008 with the RDOS test to see how it would change my result.

Normal score:
NT 52 /aspie 144

Downplaying aspie points while within the truth
NT 58 /aspie 135

'exaggerating' aspie points within the truth
NT 41 /aspie 151

5 years later I retook it (but only normal score):
NT: 50/ aspie 146

And I still wish to extrapolate on some of the questions in these tests!

I've taken all the tests I could find, and I'm consistently borderline.

I just took the test out of curiosity. It was 45/50.

Why do i find the signature of Benjamin the Donkey so absurdly funny? I really hate myself for laughing about this so hard...
