Probably at something like a Star Trek convention.....I wonder, though, if many young people go to them.

Perhaps a little better: a Pokémon convention, or a Dr. Who convention.

The closest thing to a Comic-Con someone like him would probably enjoy is one of those fan fests they have the weekend of the NHL or NBA All-Star Game, although I'm looking forward my first Comic Con in a few weeks. I know how he feels meeting famous athletes and musicians and not having a significant other to share the fun with :P

I get that I should focus on my studies and hobbies. However it just is so frustrating to see all my friends have the one thing I want: a relationship. I’m not just a crazy teenager I’ve been looking since Freshman year. Anybody from Chicago like me who knows like a youth group for aspies to hang out?

Hey guys just wanted to update you on my situation. School is at a lame duck phase where your grades are set because finals won’t impact them at all. Im interested in a girl at my job but idk how to talk with her because I want to be professional and keep my job. How do I do this?

At work the small talk goes along the lines of, on a Monday, "did you have a nice weekend? Did you do anything nice?"

I get that but people tell me I’m ugly and stuff and I believe them and the girls are nasty and I just feel so hurt because it’s going to be four years this summer looking.

Try and make small talk for the sake of it. If you put pressure on yourself to have a goal of getting a date, then you'll just stress yourself out and come over all awkward and unintentionally put people off talking to you.

Try talking to all sorts of people and just get comfortable with conversing for the sake of conversing. Build your skills.

You can't run before you can crawl.
