I'm wondering if this is the case. A lot of people with OCD have issues with worrying about hurting other people and children. Obsessions don't have to match your actual desires at all and that's why it's so stressful, because normal, empathetic people with OCD can constantly worry about doing uncharacteristic and/or unrealistic things like stabbing someone, accidentally downloading CP, etc.
I have OCD and have never hurt a child, but don't like being around kids because I'm worried I'll be accused of abusing one. I also worry about harming my family members and pets, even though I'd never do that.
Having OCD is hell and I'd honestly suggest considering that it could be the cause of at least some of your worries.
