Voted for "Full meal made from fresh ingredients".

I nowhere near a practiced cook, but I can prepare quite a few full meals. I both follow the recipes and copy traditional methods.

Some of my favourites:
- dumpling (with plum or plum jam in the core, rolled in hot buttered bread crumbs), noodles
- linzer cookies
- srudel Tirol & Hungarian style
- paprika potatoes
- gulash (soup of potatoes, vegetables, meat), I like it best when it has relatively less meat and more water and vegetables in it, seasoned with paprika, pepper, caraway seeds and marjoram. And not much fat, of course, I don't like fatty food.
- dish of vegetables (lentils, peas)
- some kind of home-made gyros (quite simple and effective to please the guests with :D ). Usually I buy the pitas or have my sister to prepare it.

I'm an awesome cook; it's been an on-and-off special interest since I was little.

No, I just find talking oneself up like that abhorrent. Nothing wrong with being proud, but there is something wrong dancing around and telling everyone how wonderful you are.

Jealous? Or it's "Just Not Fair"?

I go into the zone when I cook. Even if I'm preparing several items at once, everything is ready at the same time, without having to think about it. I rarely follow a recipe, but do look at cookery books for ideas, then adapt it using ingredients the family like or I have in the house. Most of the evening meals I cook are vegetarian (mainly vegan) as my husband is vegetarian and I always manage to avoid any blandness.

I can cook anything as long as there's a recipe and it is very clear about the specific things I need to do (I also usually need to be taken through the entire thing at least once before I can reproduce it). Whenever something in the recipe is not specific, it annoys me greatly and I tend to have huge problems figuring out what to do (like "a whiff of salt" or "wait until it's sufficiently cooled down").

The real question is what food can you makes then we know where your cooking skill lies.

I can makes....

pot roast - slow cooker is my best method in making these. The beef roast is heavily seasoned with pepper mixed with potatoes and carrots.

chicken soup - one of the most easiest soup to make. I pulled the skin from the raw chickens with my bare hand then cut them if I want to. You can cut the carrots, celery, cilantro, then put them all in. For noodle soup, you can boil egg noodle later on when the soup is done. You put in however you want in the soup.

scramble eggs with bacons - bacons cook first then use partial bacon grease for cooking oils. Water and milk are added with the eggs to make them thicker and fluffier

french toasts / pancakes - no needs to explain here

cucumber salad - cucumber mixed with plain yogurt (I recommend the Dana brand Regular plain yogurt not the low or non-fat yogurt) topped with parsely

greek salad - feta cheese on romaine lettuce topped with black olive and other suitable salad ingredients. I pour the black olive juice from the olive can which mix with the feta cheese to turn it into a delicious salad dressing.

quesadilla / grilled cheese - quesadilla unlike the grilled cheese used tortilla and quesaldillia cheeses. You heat your tortilla on pan then add two slices of cheese per two tortilla to make a nice rounded quesadilla. You can add cooked beef or chicken and other ingredients to the cheese.

I LOVE to cook. I've done it professionally since I was 17. For dinner tonight, I am making a peach lentil curry and homemade naan. :D

I can cook almost anything, but most of the time I'm lazy and stick to simple quick stuff. Oh I do refuse to deep-fry anything due to the mess. I usually serve 4 to 5 different items for a typical meal (i.e. soup, one to two meat items, a vegetable side, a pasta side and freshly baked bread). When we have guests I usually serve 6 - 8 items. DH's family think I'm quite a fancy cook, however in my family I'm an underachiever. My parents always cook a full dozen different items for guests and 6 - 7 items for regular meals. Most things are cooked from scratch from fresh ingredients.

We're foodies and spend a lot of time cooking and eating. :D

I can't actually cook a meal unless someone is there to help me or I'm constantly looking at the directions.

But I'm very good with microwaveable food.

I can cook pre-made food and prepare sandwiches and cereals but other than that, I really hate cooking and have no passion for it at all!

Why is there double options for everything?

Anyways, it depends on the day...sometimes I can cook amazingly...other times...
