had a moron infestation recently to-next to the house,on thursday/friday.
technically they are pests so wonder would rentokill or whoever sort them if they were contacted?

thought it was illegal to do these things all night anyway, noise pollution?

It is illegal. You can't even honk a car horn between 10pm and 7am. But still police don't come up here except for when some yuppies house has been broken into.

thought so,it might as well be legal then,if they don't bother with it.

is it a regular thing with that group?
besides not bothering about the laws, they could also be breaking their housing contract?/agreement? as there might be suitable requirements in the contract [such as not playing music/tv loud after certain time].

also, can understand about the building stuff going on to,the road in front of/behind this one have many houses having a lot of building work done, some brand new houses being built-they all seem to be a showcase for having the loudest and most agonising tools running [that screeching cutting tool, generators, drills etc].

if not tried this already, recommend using a pair of comfortable soft ear plugs with a pair of padded ear defenders over the top for keeping out the noise.

it's crap in that situation as the only way out of it is to move to another house [most suitable for people with sensory problems would be somewhere in countryside],or to sound proof the whole house.
