I'm either dead quiet or rampaging, which vertedness be such?

Most 16-type theories include in their 4 emotional axes, one for introverted/extraverted. It seems you have to be at either end. But even the grandaddy Jung admitted you can have cross-types. He thought of them as under developed in that they had not yet settled on an extreme (he also implied they are charming, cf Aspie "innocence").

Well folks, they missed one obvious logical possibility: BEING BOTH!

For me, if things are going my way I get hyperactive and extremely creative. But if something is wrong, I stop, I go in a trance. Call it AMBIVERSION.

BTW, I've developed a whole new rationale and set of scales for the 4 axes. If you're interested, I'll type til your eyes can't stay open no more.

I'm extreme INTP also. Myers-Briggs is criticized for being unreliable, yet it's spot on for me. Also, people who I find obnoxious would mostly be ESTJ.

count me in. all INTP profiles I've ever read described me perfectly.

allegedly, only 1% of population is INTP. that sort of covers quite a bit of the spectrum :p

then there is five INTP subtypes

Eh... ESFP. I'm about sure that were the right letters.

I am INFP but have a "T" side that comes out sometimes. I don't think there's any one Aspie personality, though we tend to stay within our comfort zones more so personality might be more extreme or fixed. Myers-Briggs measures cognitive functions, of course, and I'm not sure how much that has to do with the "mechanism" of AS. Fun to speculate, though.

i'm usually xSTJ. the I/E is usually borderline.

i think it's because of questions like, "would you rather go to the library or a party?"

i would rather go to the party, but i suck at parties and always end up feeling dumb and end up being a wall flower and failing at small talk, so i might choose the library. but i don't know how to answer the question.

i think there are many aspies who are actually extroverts, they're just lousy at it. i want to be social, i just suck at it.

the STJ part is usually off the charts.

INTP last time I took it a while back.

We took this at our job when a "wonderful" team of consultants came in to "improve" our company.

It was a small company, so they went over everyone's type in a group meeting so we could some how understand how to interact with each other. Silly IMHO.

It was a joy having it pointed out that I was an odd ball personality, which was followed by quite a few "Yeah that is him!" with some chuckles, as they read the trait list of that type.

It was a lot of fun! /sarcasm

Interesting bump. This WP thread seems to show the community shifting to an INTJ majority...

I'm another INFJ here. I've gotten INTJ a couple of times too, but I think the description of the former fits me somewhat better.

INxP (really truly mixed type), but as it is best to say I don't fit any of them all that well...

Half of the time I get INFP, the other half INFJ

and it always is such a close call with all the results.

I'm also an Enneagram type 2, variant Social. Which amuses me to no end.

I did the online version of this test and got an INTJ. But to be safe, I was unsure about the context of many questions so I can't say I'm 100% sure of my results.
