people with sensary integration disorder arent looking at things like strapple's favorites sensations as sexual

people with autism like the body pressure that might come from a blood pressure cuff or restraints like sold at bodypoint. its their way of calming and relaxing to kill stress to deal with day to day stress.

the need for silky type material, some people just cannot stand certain materials, i myself used to HATE bluejeans!! ! and used to just only wear cotten sweatpants, to autistics their skin is sensitive to the point were some materials feel like sandpaper. and neoprene and silky materials just happen to be the materials that strapples likes.

my favorite sensations, nice warm bed the room dark and warm and head under covers, this leads to sleep fast

thank you doordoctor... i am in full agreement with ALL of your statements. and the reason i like neoprene and silky soft materials is because their warm softness is calming to me wheras something rougher would NOT be calming... and with me i find the pressure i like in unusual or unique places.

jjstar, that may be what you think but my case is not "fetishistic" at all. I'm autistic and pressure and the feel of silky things is what i am calmed by anything else is irritating and agitating for me. please understand that it may be different in your eyes because you may not have sensory integration problems. each autistic is unique in their condition. i hope you see it through and dont complain to mods as i think that it will only be a waste of time to complain.

I do not understand jjstar's sudden attack on Strapples, especially considering this person's sign-off message and their previous contribution to the thread!

Hello all. :)

I hope any misunderstandings have been resolved. Let's keep it on topic from here on out, please.

---

I don't personally have many sensory integration issues, but when my son was around one year old, sometimes the only thing that could comfort him was to have his feet squeezed--not massaged, but just held firmly and then released. When I'd do that to him, he was so calm, I felt like an alligator charmer. :P

velvet seems to be a common one here... do you like it against your skin? thats how i like it... i wish i had a nice velvet jacket :(

fluffy things depends, i like very dense fur, and i dont like to wear it, but i like to touch it, like a cats fur is very dense and feels soft and furry yet not ticklishly furry.

direct heat against the back end another common one here... oh how i wish i had the ability to sit in front of the vent again...

powders hmm, could you elaborate on that?

I like wearing velvet, but I can't wear anything fluffy. The individual hairs freak me out if it brushes against skin where I don't expect to feel it. That's why I like rugs, covers, and animal fur.

Did anyone get burns, or does it feel painful for anyone who said they like heat? I would sit in front of a space heater for hours, and nothing. I meant it felt reaaaallly good, and I would think to myself after feeling how hot my back was, that 'this should hurt'.

I like the sensation of crumbling things like packed hard dirt or chalk into powder.
