All these comments are making me fidgety! ;)

I'm still going through a bit of self-dx, after having our son dx with Asperger's. His father and I feel that the apple didn't fall far from the tree, if you get my meaning.

Thinking hard about it, here's what I do:

~bouncing my leg on the ball of my foot or alternating legs when I'm sitting, sometimes really really hard
~i find it hard to "sit back" in a chair - usually I sit at the very edge of it, i guess it's anxiety or something
~i suck and bite the insides of my cheeks until the skin is raised and red
~gnash my teeth together (my dentist hates me)
~rub my forefinger and thumb together very lightly in tiny circles until i can feel the tiny invisible "marble" rolling between them
~i love rubbing my eyes until i see the pretty fireworks ;)
~touching my nose when i'm anxious or feeling stared at
~used to bite my nails to the quick all the time
~also used to twirl and suck on my hair, when I was a kid
~when sitting cross-legged on my bed or the floor, I often rock (funny I never thought much about it til now)
~tapping my feet to music heard only by me
~putting my hand over my mouth
~biting my chapped lips until they bleed
~used to be really bad about picking scabs

That's all I'm coming up with for now. Now I'm thinking about this so much, i hope I can get to sleep.

If I'm just standing around with nothing to lean against I'll twist my body to the left and right as if I was looking around, I often chatter my teeth, and one of my legs will vibrate if I am sitting in a seat that is low to the floor and I'm leaning forward.

Pick at my arms (keratosis pilaris).

Pick at my face (blemishes, pores, etc).

Pick at my lips.

Tapping fingers together, while counting and singing to the taps in my head.

Tapping/shaking feet and legs.

Touching/rubbing myself - face, arms, neck, head/hair.

Muscle and joint movements - not spasms, but self-inflicted obsessive tics. Can become very, very painful.

I'm rocking a lot now.

I bite and pick at my fingernails, bounce my legs, rock, spin back and forth in my computer chair, scratch my scalp (sometimes until it bleeds), and lean against things in narrow places like doorways and elevators.

Rocking is definitely my most frequent one (I'm doing it right now as I type this), but I think the nail biting and leaning in doorways annoyed my parents more.

My most current stim would be rubbing the calf muscle of my right leg in an up and down motions with the top of my left foot. I do this when I am stressed or thinking deeply...which both have been often lately.

I also sniff my hands...I can always smell something on my hands and I have to sniff it to get the most of the smell...I know, sounds weird. Last night I smelt garbage on my hands, even though there wasn't. It highly irritated me.

I also have a little bit of hair at the back of my head which I stroke in a rapid down motion then let go of the piece of hair, go back to the top of it and do it again etc. My hair has a slight curl in that area and I like the feeling of it between my fingers.

Also, rocking side to side when using my laptop I do often. Probably do that nearly every time I am online.

Those are my most frequent stims.
others that I do less often would be obsessive throat clearing, swaying side to side when standing when bored, reading sentences over and over again outloud and picking my face.

If this is considered stimming too, you can count me in. I do it all the time.

I love to rub the smooth index finger nail or thumb nail against my lips, or if Im walking, against my finger tips. The smoother the better. I also like to feel the knobbly funny bone on my elbow.

I stim with my feet/legs a lot. I am so conscious of it now that I get kind of pissed at myself. Mostly I curl my toes inside my shoes, so it is hardly noticeable to others. When I am laying down, I rub my whole foot, whichever one is on the bottom, on whatever I am laying on. I seem to have a very slight rocking back-and-forth thing as well. I also do a lot of drum tapping or rubbing things with my hands. I suppose they used to help me concentrate, but now that I know what they are, I am way too conscious and stopping myself. I need to get back to when I had no idea I had AS and just be myself again.

Mind I ask why you like being wrapped up like that... I love it too its very calming for me.

I think the restraint (no pun intended with my avatar) Is very calming as you are forced to relax
