Example of the Magician type is Albert Einstein , he was kinda healthy ...he didn't have any serious genetic disease and he has super intelligence and this super intelligence is caused mainly by 'high intelligence genes' , these genes might serve well for the next human generations ==> Alpha set of genes , they deserve to be transmitted to the next generation.

And yet one of Albert's sons was institutionalized (for schizophrenia)... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eduard_Einstein

Are you saying that albert einstein, despite possessing genetic factors that could lead to conditions such as that should still have been allowed to produce children? Or are such mental conditions not considered as undesirable genetic traits in your "system"? If the latter is what's true, then I can safely retract my earlier statement about "all of us here are undesirable in your system"...

PS: separating the traits in your theory makes a whole lot more sense now... it would also explain why the one time women literally fought over me was in my junior biology class (I was the only person in the class who actually knew the subject material)...

But how many people are genius like Einstein? Not too many. His intelligence is rare and he might be the smartest male on his time ....so surely he'll pass as an alpha in this 'system'.

Yea , because you were an 'alpha' (Magician type) in this class compared to the other peers ...this will be easy in a class where the number of guys is limited , but are you now a Magician in the world outside school/uni? are you now some successful biologist scientist who's making top achievements? Do you think that you are capable to top achievements in this field ...or any other field?
If yes, a lot of girls will like you. If no , then you are not any type of alpha.

If you want to reply further , I suggest to move the continuation of this discussion to its original thread: http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt54014.html

I think probably about half of us here.

IMO Einstein was non-AS HFA, since he had quite significant language delays.

I also disagree with the ability of someone to be both ret*d and an Aspie. As one excludes the clinical defintion of the other in the DSM-IV criteria.

If someone is ret*d, they are obviously delayed, that is the definition of ret*d.

Well, isn't mental retardation an IQ of 70 and below? So somone could have an IQ of 71 and still be labeled an Aspie. 71 isn't exactly an average score though. So although there is a lower limit to Aspie IQs, the lower limit is not the average range.

I see lots of children and adults w/Aspergers. I have not met anyone that had an IQ that low (71) that was dxed with Aspergers. In order to get the dx, you have to about average IQ. Otherwise they are usually just given the dx of Autism. I have met several people with Aspergers that were not average IQ, and below. But for the most part, they are 90-120 in IQ. Most Aspies are intelligent people, just a little weird socially.

Idaho Aspie

STOP capitalizing on his name!

What I dislike about Aspies mentioning Einstein (or Isaac Newton, for that matter) is that they sometimes use his name in an attempt to reinforce the idea that Aspies are "better than" or "more intelligent than" or "superior to" non-Aspies.
Oh, please!

Exactly.

I don't know of anybody that is saying Aspies are superior to non-aspies. In fact, most people act and treat us like we are mentally ret*d.

I tend to think of it as being optimistic. :sunny:

I've been suprised at the intelligence of a lot of the people on WP. Seems to me that most of us here are at least slightly above average intelligence.

...and what about this one taken from the ex-stripper WP user:

I wonder if Homo Sapiens Sapiens called Neanderthals "NT"s too?

CRAP.

Evolution doesn't mean superior, or success. It just means "different". Only those differences that convey an ADVANTAGE will succeed. Humans, are the most effective and successful predators on Earth. Make that 'in the known Universe', since we're confined to this mudball at the moment.

So WHAT?

Nobody's going to know if Aspie's are an evolutionary upgrade for thousands of years. Pointless. Unless we can be a better KILLER than the others, we won't have an advantage now will we? I don't see many of us taking on that role, so I wouldn't worry about an Aspie War with the NT's.

Okay, so he may not be aspie, but he was fighting against the genocide of his own people, conveniently disguised as a "cure"... sound familiar?

But Seifer is better. Even he's NT, he's awesome.
