Everyone here is entitled to tell how they have been treated by a mostly NT society. Everyone is entitled to they're opinion.

Which is what we're doing: voicing our own opinions. :/

Yes but i have seen people post here numerous times to stop critisizing NT's, just all get along blah blah blah. That is why i have pointed out that everyone is entitled to say what they think, not what others should think.

Another interesting point. NTs seems to think that everyone should be the same. Everyone is entitled to see the world their own way, not the way of the most popular person in school. And aspies suffer as a result.

Huh? Are you saying that there are more famous scientists with AS than dictators with AS? If so, there have been more famous scientists in general than dictators. I still don't see the relevance of that, though.

My opinion is that people should stop critisizing NTs. Just because I think that doesn't mean they have to stop, I am just expressing my opinion.

By most of your standards, I am NT.

By most of your standards, BeeBee is NT.

Do you want the apsie version of ASPAR or do you want a real community?

Make your choice.

I agree with you on this... there is a time when if we really don't like something, while we love to express it, sometimes it's best to consider the impact it will have on the community too. This NT vs AS split is working more against WP than it is for WP. We've all had our problems with NTs and others but there is no reason to generalize all NTs as bad or all Aspies as superior and vice versa.

The way I feel, if you want acceptance you give acceptance, same with tolerance, understanding and all. The more NTs get bashed the further back any efforts to bridge the gap of understanding and acceptance between AS and NTs widens. It's about time that people just realize we're all human, we're here for a reason and to learn to deal with each other in the most effective way we can.

I critisize folly wherever i see it, including in Aspies and myself so boo-hoo if i critisize a bunch of people that mostly fit in better and live a much more fruitful productive lifes than myself if there is something i dont like about a lot of them.

Actually, I've been treated pretty well by most NTs, and I don't see why so many people here have to make gross generalizations. If you've had bad experiences with a lot of NTs, then either you were in the wrong place at the wrong time (And probably with the wrong people) or you did something that you shouldn't have. (And I hope it's mostly the former. Most of you are respectable people, or at least I hope you are.)

Ok to stop generalisations we should all call EVERYONE 'human beings' and nothing else. You dont want to? Oh well back to the drawing board.

What i do to avoid arguments (doesnt always work) is to say some somebodies are like that as opposed to all this group of people are like that. I dont bother to say In my opinion/experience or stuff like that much because it is fairly obvious it is my opinion/experience i am talking about unless i attribute what i say to someone else or i would post under a group name instead of my own.

No, we can't.

The larger a forum grows, the more conflict there will be. That will never change.

That when it's a moderators job to crack down on inappropriate posts and follow some stone set rules.

Eh, NT's can be just as annoying to us as we are to them. I think the bottom line is that all human beings are equal, we are just all different as well. Given that I have to live as an Aspie in an NT world, I try to make the most of it! Besides, it's handy to have a few NT's who can understand you, as they are better at understanding how to play your cards for you to your advantage in an NT world... for example, I would be totally lost if I didn't have mum to advise me on what to say to professors at Uni when I get into trouble...
