The Cogito, Ergo Stim t-shirt would be very subtle. I intend to change the center to ASC in keeping with my new ideas about Autism Spectrum Characteristics (instead of Disorders) and Characters. This way, we are not Aspies, instead we are ASCies (apropos since many of us are enamoured of computers).

I could put cogito ergo stim in ascii (or binary) if that would make it more subtle...

An entire shirt in binary....

only on this forum would such a thing be suggested...

WE ROCK!! !!

Maybe not necessarily a "positive" shirt but a "probably won't understand unless a member of the ASD community" shirt.

A lot of fraternities and sororities in college have t-shirts that are parodies of corporate logos and other insignia. At my school, in the time I've been here, I've seen the logos for Starbucks, Delta Air Lines, Volkswagen, GI Joe, Mike's Hard Lemonade, MasterCard, and Amtrak, just to name a few, have parodies made out of them to promote fraternities and sororities.

That said, why not take the front cover/logo of the video game "The Sims", and add a "t" at a strategic location in the latter word?

Just a thought.

I like this one. And the one "Sorry, Wrong Planet".

Not quite sure this would give a "positive" image, lol

What would you put on a T-shirt to increase positive perceptions of Asperger's?

I'll start (I think I saw this somewhere on this site)

Differently Wired/Differently Wierd

and

On my planet, this behavior is considered normal (seen on a book cover)

That's about what I'd do. ;) Not exactly "positive" but some humorous stuff nonetheless.

Nope. A source of fun and profit. And frustration, of late. I ordered a gift for my mom from tat site and it arrived broken, and they have yet to reply to my email inquiries. Looks like I still have to do more christmas shopping after all.... -string of profanity- ((Don't worry, they are willing to refund to my knowledge, and it's just the mugs that -may- break. I've ordered teeshirts and a button, all very good results.))

That would TOTALLY get people to start touching you more than they do already. :P

In the 70's there was a common bumper sticker that said "If this van's rocking, don't come knocking".
I would parody that as "If the Aspie's rocking, don't try talking".

Something I just thought of related to stimming...

I rock!

Well, its true, isnt it? Also, I think that someone had a good username which could be put on a shirt, kiss my AS. Also, one for the more aggressive people, there could be a middle finger and 'even us aspies understand this'

Do you live near any kind of tourist-y place? If so, I challenge you to go there, use your pirate accent, hand somebody your camera, and ask them to take your picture. It works great! Or you could do what somebody else here did and go to a public webcam. Or a photo booth. Or the police station. They might be having a slow day and be happy to take your mug shot.

Someone said something about stimming being good for losing weight... that "flapping is good for circulation" one just reminded me of it. Why not have something like that?
