Yes, pacing - and chewing things - are my biggest stims. When there's someone else there, people are always telling me to, "stop walking up and down". If I'm alone, I can pace for a couple of hours sometimes.

When stressed and/or overwhelmed.

I'll admit that there are times when I can be found walking around my apartment cause, sometimes I find it very difficult to realistically relax.Still, I do try to relax though it's just not that easy and no! I wish not to take medications..I don't have AHAD just, that I tend to be energetic that's all..

Not so much now, but as a child/teen, I would be in my room with my headphones and portable radio pacing back and forth for HOURS.

I love to pace especially while listening to music, it just feels so relaxing. I tend to pace around my room or pace in the basement. I'll pace in other areas of the house when no one is around or when no one is in that room because I am self-conscious about it. I used to love pacing around my backyard with my headphones on when it was warm outside and my house felt too cold. I supplement that now with walking around my neighborhood which appears more normal I suppose.

Why yes, I pace, usually in a section of my house, sometimes in a different route. I go there then repeat, repeat, repeat, but this usally happens when I'm listening to music. I still doit though when I'm thinking.

My form of pacing is playing fetch with the dog. I throw her toy but walk or sprint to pick it up, and the whole time I'm thinking, so it's a form of pace. Sometimes I get lost in my thoughts that I'm still holding her toy, that is until she almost knocks me over.

Yup, I'll pace when I'm anxious, annoyed, impatient or excited about something. Sometimes when I listen to music, I'll pace around the house because the music is so moving.

Same here.
I can often be found pacing about the garden, having a reflective conversation with myself, and the plants.

Quite often

It's such a habit that I'm unaware most of the time and my wife will remind me of it by her annoyance at the "creaking wood floors".

She once questioned me of why I go to the mirror and brush my hair and pace back to living room and come back and brush my hair again and pace back again to the living room, ad infinitum. :?

I told her I was thinking.

When I'm listening to music I pace a lot. Usually I just make up excuses to go up and down the staircase over and over and over again.
