People do illegal things all the time without knowing it. Who cares if it's illegal? Over 50 years ago it was LEGAL to kill jews in Germany.

I like weed real well, but I haven't been able to get any for a long time. I sometimes get the impression that maybe for some reason I don't inspire trust in people.

Doing without it hasn't improved my life at all.

Anything more than small amounts of alcohol just makes me stupid and makes my life more dull than it already is. Wish it wasn't the only thing I was able to get.

Weed does me a lot better than any of those pills I got from the guy with acronyms after his name. It's gotten me out of a rut more than once.

I don't have any social relationships, so for me, that's irrelevant. For me, weed makes being alone all the time easier to live with; makes me more inclined to enjoy and appreciate the good things in my life and less inclined to feel dismal about the bad things I can't do anything about.

For me a little bit of weed can do me a lot of good in social situations, I just feel more comfertable around people and it even helps ease some sensory issues (especially touch), however I'm really sensitive to it and so it's really easy for me to smoke too much. When I smoke too much I my "fuctioning" (in the autistic spectrum sense) plummets and I become less verbal, my sensory problems amplify, and I become completely unable to stifle or hide stims.

So overall I like weed, but I have to be more careful with it than the NTs I smoke with.

I like it.
I have to be careful who I smoke it with and where I smoke it though.
I can become extremely apathetic very quickly if I am not careful.

I've had a few "contact highs". I became very paranoid, anxious and jittery. I can't imagine actually smoking it first-hand, I think I'd probably go straight out of my mind lol

OMG so many people actually smoke that stuff.
Its illegal.
Plus aparently it makes you more addicted to 'harder' drugs later like cocaine and stuff.
plus it contains 20 times more ammona than tabaco smoke
Plus it has many health issues such as bronctis and emphymea as well as szhizophrenia.

tbh i thought people with AS would be dead against this drug and less likely to smoke it,
i nver would
its illegal
and i have a sense of right and wrong
and wouldnt do anything illegal

yeah it makes me an outcast but i dont care anymore.

na your right. The trouble is, some people seem to think weed is harmless, its not! I've seen friends of mine start off smoking weed, now they are bang on coke, when at a time they said they'd never do anything but smoke weed. Some have tried heroin, some have died. I'm not saying that if you smoke weed, you will become a heroin addcit! But I wonder if those who died, if they hadn't smoked that first joint, would they still be here? :?

I have done a lot of drugs and stopped doing them all fairly quickly. Something strange happens when drugs enter my system. I feel the effects of them normally for a while, but then very quickly become immune to them. I don't get drunk no matter how much I drink; I don't get stoned no matter how much I smoke. Pain killers don't work for more than a couple days, which really sucked when I was recovering from back surgery.

So I did it for a bit, enjoyed it, then stopped when it stopped working. After a few years without any, I tried it again and it still didn't do anything, so it's not a matter of normal tolerance. I think my brain just deals with poisons by compartmentalizing their effects and hiding them away so they don't interfere with my cognitive functions.

As for the people who believe in the 'gateway drug' phenomenon; I think that's very overstated. Most people who smoke pot never do the harder drugs. It's not that people who smoke weed are more likely to do other drugs; it's that the people who do other drugs are generally not against smoking weed, which is much easier to find and much cheaper to buy, so they generally get around to trying it first. It's a lot like saying that shoplifting leads to grand larceny and armed robbery. Or that someone getting in a fist fight makes them more likely to go on a killing spree.

It's illegal, and that's one of the reasons I don't do it anymore (I've grown out of my rebellion) but it can also be legitimately argued that marijuana is less harmful to health and society than alcohol, which is not illegal. Unfortunately, one of the bigger side-effects of THC is that it makes you temporarily lazy and stupid, and most of the pot-advocates are addicted to it and are generally too lazy and stupid to make any reasonable argument about it. Fortunately, it's such a trivial issue that it doesn't actually effect most people one way or the other. :D

Quite alot of that is common myth, and the statement that it makes you addicated to harder drugs is pretty insulting and narrow minded to say the least. Actually smoking weed has been proven healthier than smoking tobacco, more and more people die of regular smoking and passive smoking every year hardly anyone has died from smoking weed, alcohol abuse is also a much more dangerous killer but i dont see people tarnishing people who drink with the brush that alcohol will lead them to harder drugs, infact many alcoholics go that route to hard drugs when alcohol doesnt give them enough anymore.

As for weed having associated health disorders like schizophrenia, emphysema and bronchitis, yes that is true, but the little gem of information all these bleeding hart anti-weed campaigns neglect to mention is that the amount of weed you actually need to smoke in order to get those problems is comparable to the amount of alcohol you'd need to drink to destroy your liver or the amount of cigarettes youd need to smoke to contract cancer. If you're stupid enough to overdo it to dangerous levels then yes you're going to have problems, but to assume everyone who has any experience of it is that idiotic is just ludicrous.

Weed being illegal is only a point of view, its illegal because the government which is just a group of people say so, just because they say so, it doesnt make it right, there are many laws which are wrong and dated and I really wish people would wake up to the fact that we live in the 21st century and quit this annoying sterotypical view that anyone who smokes weed for any reason, is a junkie who'll end up shooting up.

If people dont like smoking it thats fine but nothing gives anyone the right to judge those who do, this gets me through the day and quite frankly keeps me from killing myself, I don't see that I should have to apologise for that especially after what i've had to go through. Once again, don't judge what you don't understand.

How to make your own ganja cookies -

Ingredients

10 heaped teaspoons of very finely ground marijuana leaf. Use a coffee grinder.
1 cup each of plain flour, sugar, rolled oats and coconut
4 oz butter
2 dining spoons treacle or corn syrup
4 dining spoons boiling water
1 teaspoon carbonate soda (add a little more water if mixture is too dry)

Method
1. Grease cookie tray and pre heat oven to 180C
2. Combine dry ingredients
3. Melt together butter and syrup. Combine water and soda and add to butter mixture.
4. Combine butter mixture and dry ingredients to form complete cookie mixture.
5. Drop teaspoons of cookie mixture onto tray allowing room for spreading.
6. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden. Allow to cool on tray for a few minutes before transferring to cooling racks.

Test with caution.
