Man, those Oprah fans can be vicious in the defense of their idol. Remember what happened with Nan Talese? You'd be amazed at the reaction they had when it came out that James Frey and Nan Talese had been lied to about the nature of that show. They went after Mrs. Talese over it, and just went ballistic over it. Youtube videos of Mrs. Talese got utterly vandalised, ridiculous allegations about her were made... All in all, a debacle.

So be careful, guys.

Joeker: Nobody needs to defend Oprah because it wasn't her who made any bad comments. This is just the forum on her website and she has no part in it. Though, unfortunately her show is still portraying autism as a horrifying disease and a few of us a working hard to get her show to change that image.
