I've had glasses since Grade 7. It's a pain in the ass and the nose piece always bothers me. Not to mention it clogs my pores in the areas where my glasses frames/nosepiece touch my face. I had contacts for about a year. I liked the peripheral vision, but since I have astigmatism, they slid around a lot. Not to mention, I couldn't stand any little piece of dust being in my eye, so I'd always be putting my finger in there trying to get out eye goo or dust/particles. I will hopefully get laser eye surgery, then I can have freedom from annoyance and perfect or near perfect vision. I'm nearsighted, but I think I will also need bifocals. My vision has deteriorated steadily since I got glasses. Whether I use glasses, contacts, or nothing at all, it always gets worse.

I wear glasses, but only when going outside into "the real world." I never wear them inside.

I have reading glasses because due to my long-sightedness, focussing on close-up things gives me a terrible headache and pain in my eyes. They are slightly tinted too, to help cut out glare from fluorescent lights.

I've had to wear glasses since 6th grade, and I read a lot as a kid. I hate wearing glasses because they always hurt behind my ears, but I can't wear contacts because my eyes are too sensitive. So I wear my glasses as little as possible. When I win the lottery I'll probably get Lasik.

I have worn glasses since about the fourth or fifth grade.

Wow, I really didn't expect this many people to have four eyes (just kidding). Anyway, Im one of them. I can remember having vision problems nearly all my life. Im nearsighted in one eye, farsighted in the other, and I also have this other condition (I forget the name) where my eyes move and jerk around without me controlling them.
