I don't use the alarm on my clock. I just get up when its time to get up.

Mobile phone because alarms either go missing/are stolen by family members/break because they are cheap and crappy

Sometime I'll get a good alarm clock

Used to have radio when I was in high school then I started using my mobile which I hate and I agree buzzers only make me upset and grumpy in the morning.

I should get a radio...

Well I need that horrid buzzer to wake me up on time. The radio will wake me up eventually but I'll sleep right thru everything else. Someone else mentioned that they started waking up a couple minutes before the buzzer, I was the same way. Some weird sort of sixth sense. :) I also would sometimes wake up, turn the alarm off, go back to sleep, and have no recollection of it later. Having to wake up early sucks!

I use my iphone, set to the church bells settings for my alarms. Radio alarms, on the other hand, annoy me and literally leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I have one alarm on the phone to wake up and another alarm to tell me to eat lunch [since I often forget].

Alarm clock radio. The buzzer scares the bejeezuz outta me so I always wake up to the radio.

I use my mobile phone when I'm away on holidays.

I don't use one, as I am lucky that I wake up about 6-6:30 AM; about an hour before I'd plan to get up anyway. If I have to get up earlier than that, I have an old 1970s Sony mini-TV with an alarm clock & radio built-in. I set it to buzz, and to have the TV come on to medium volume.

I usually wake up befopre 8 am without an alarm clock.

Whenever I need an alarm I either use my mobile phone or I program the radio to switch on at a certain time.

I use a battery-operate atomic-synched alarm clock.

I hate plug-in alarm clocks. Power goes out and you lose settings. It's only recently I've seen some that use power backups that are always there (long-life battery or at least a warning when it's dead). Even then, if the power's out, the alarm won't work.

At least when the battery's going dead on my alarm, the display fades out...especially if I use the viewing light.
