This forum is just so huge I get lost in it. That's just so ironic that people with autism/asperger's syndrome generally do better in small groups or one-on-one, and here is a forum JUST for us, but is so large and overwhelming.

Is a curious phenomenon.
Guess the odds improve the more people there are at a site, of finding people with whom one can potentially share matching/overlapping interests-and mutually appreciate personality traits (between individuals who 'get along' well with each other).

Commented already in this thread, but also: come here to discuss (read, maybe write) topics of interest to me-and I do not have to pretend to be "into" subjects that bore me.

That's a big difference between the dx forums to which I belong (even though everyone here is a total stranger to me !) & my conversations/interactions with people offline/IRL.

Am not hurting anyone's feelings or rejecting someone merely by not commenting to a thread (there are more than I could read, anyway)-and if I write something, it's not personal rejection if someone doesn't reply to my post. For me, it's structured/assisted communication.

I found this site and it was nice to know that there are other Aspies out there. Now, it's just part of my routine.

I will answer when I have been on the website longer.

Right now it is just curiosity.
