also google "Oni Koneko photobucket" and look through those pics...

not direct linking to avoid trouble....

EDIT: the photobucket google takes you to a NSFW pic, but it's the guy's photobucket and the person has a bunch of pics of that person on there as well as other things...that person has AS.

I've always felt gender and associated expected patterns of behavior to be silly. I do what I want, regardless of whether other people think it accurately matches the things between my legs and on my chest or not. If I like it and it doesn't hurt anyone, that's what's important. Not outdated stereotypes that should've died back in the 50s.

If the stereotypes are still around in 2008, obviously they're not outdated. I rather like the gender binary. It's what I'm used to.

It's a bit late (as I just rediscovered this thread), but anyways...

If other people want to adhere to a set of standards for their own life, it's all good. The same thing applies about not hurting anyone and being oneself. Just I don't want such a system imposed on me, because it fails to take me into account as an individual. That's what I find silly, people being expected to adhere something regardless of who they are and what their story is.

This applies to everyone, in some way shape or form. Yes, even the cisgendered are subject to injustice. You seem to think being cisgendered is the end all and be all of life. It isn't.

Just because it's there doesn't mean it's right. No more than the mistreatment of autistics, the physically disfigured, the otherwise disabled or any other marginalized group is. And it's not the end-all, be-all, but it is a difficulty for many - I've thankfully had it easier than many, but I know those people for which it is a struggle. If it can be changed (and yes, it can - one might notice the lack of present discrimination against people who are left handed, among other people who in previous eras were thought to be diseased or dysfunctional), it should be, so that the most people can be included. Of course I don't think it should get to the other extreme, where the majority group is expected to be something other than what it is in their nature to be, but injustice, if recognized as such, should never be accepted with a shrug and an "oh well."

If there was more understanding, compassion, and cooperation, the plight of transsexuals and many others would be alleviated. I know, such a vague statement. But right now that's all I can think of.

Physically somewhat androgynous, as I have thick, naturally red lips and long eyelashes. Some feminine features in that way, but you can definitely tell that I'm male. Similarly, I have my feminine side, and I can look at things from the perspectives of both genders, more or less, more through mental emulation than anything. Essentially male, in motivations and mindset, but I don't like getting involved in what I consider reckless male behaviour, and stay well away from it. Obviously, there are alot of other factors which tie in with that. Perhaps intelligence, detachment, and self-control suppress those typical male instincts. Perhaps it's social inexperience.

I have to lol; I expect a female to say that more often...though I also expect males to say that too.

I personally like adrogynous looking men. So I'd be happy to see more adrogynous looking male Aspies hanging around here. I've seen a few, but they're in the UK and I'm in the USA. So it's like, "Meh, another cute guy I have no hopes of ever being with."

And androgynous-looking women. Come on, where's the love for them?

No thanks. I like women who actually look like women.
