I think everyone has had some sort of electric shock.
My first that I remember was with the old electric fence and that was with a school - bo-oring
The second was my own dumb fault, I was playing around with an old power supply on my then relatively new PC, I uncovered a few rubber covers to touch one of the 4 terminals and felt a huge snap, when I realised, "Hey, I left the thing switched on!"
The third time, well, I don't know what happened, I plugged in the power pack, held the switch component in my right hand, applied power INTO the unit, depressed the switch in my right hand and a split second after switching on, I felt a huge snap. My instant reflexes were to drop the switch. I examined it and couldn't find anything wrong with it.
The electricity rating in the UK was a standard 240v - now it down to 230v standard. Probably another drop to 220v soon
Oh, removing a spark plug lead on any running engine is NOT dangerous, but touching the spark plug elements that generate the VERY HIGH sparks and I'm talking thousands are very dangerous and can kill
