Everyone:

I think you have all taken this well, albeit with different temperaments. I thought this was real, and I believed it, until I found out it was Ashley who did that!

I told him I would do some research on schizophrenia, and I did. Now, I am not surprised that he has acted the way he has. Yes, sure, he is a friend of mine, but to do that to people who he doesn't know very well? Unbelievable!

Ante is my friend, and I forgive him for any misjudged actions he has taken. It was quite nice thinking that Vivi fancied me though.....

For some reason I find this rather interesting and funny...

I did. (And am glad I stumbled on this thread because my thought was "Oh good grief another social tangle.")

I got one from Kangarookid that said that BiGayAndy, (But misspelled as BiGagAndy) was supposedly interested in me. However, I had already seen this thread first as well, so I knew what the deal was.

Still though I love the Welsh book scheme ante, how far did u get torwards pulling it off?

I got one like that yesterday. It said: nirrti_rachelle asked me to tell you that she is romantically interested in you.

When I first saw it, I thought it was quite possible, but had some doubts in the back of my mind. Fortunately, the most I did was try to check the profiles (both the person who wrote and the person "interested").

There is a very nice Russian proverb: "Trust, but verify." I think it fits perfectly.

Did you even check back at that thread? Most people said you could stay if you wanted to and be welcome. I assumed you'd deleted your posts because you'd left and it wasn't confusing at all. I think the whole PMing thing is kind of amusing albeit weird and juvinile; I don't "buy" the fact that you had any moral purpose behind it other than to troll/prank, but it wasn't the most horrible thing anyone's ever done on here, just kinda dumb. I'm not particularly upset and wouldn't be opposed to you staying here at WP personally, provided you toned the pranks and drama (not your own, or course, but WP-related) down a bit.

Edit: I was confused as hell for a minute but now I get it. You didn't typo, you just ripped names off and latered the spelling a tiny bit.

So let me see if I have this straight...

Once upon a time there was a guy called Antieverything. Antieverything was a member of an online AS community known as WP. As a member, he posted often and appropriatly, many of the WP members enjoyed reading Antieverything's posts and enjoyed his sarcastic sense of humor. One day Antieverything decided that his name was to negative, and had it changed to Ante. Ante, however, began to create false accounts and impersonate other members of WP. Ante also began to experiance low self esteem and often posted that he was leaving, assuming that WP members did not like him, an assertion that was completly false. One day Ante decided to send out a bunch of PM's to WP members saying" ___________ asked me to tell you that they are romantically interested in you." (which is REALLY the most AS way to state that sentiment that I can think of) Some of the WP members were confused or fooled by these PM's...feelings were hurt. Ante then decided to anounce that he was leaving again. Why did all of this occur you ask...because Ante was acting out of a very wounded and painful place, a place of self hate and paranoia that others were hateful towards him. Ante let himself believe that his own negative self thoughts were shared by others, specifically by members of WP.

We are all kind of goofy misfits here, and as Vivi has pointed out, not one of us is inocent of being dishonest or decietful at one point or another...especially at times when we have felt hurt and powerless, and have thus sought our "revenge" in less than straightforward ways. Have you done some things that may have hurt/offended people...yes, but nothing that is unforgivable. My advice to you would be to make repair with those members that have been hurt, and then to stay here at WP and move on. You will need to regain the trust of many here, but that is doable. You have been a valuable member, and have contributed meaningful input in many threads in the past. I am hopeful, and look forward to the return of the Ante that we all used to enjoy so much.

Ante/Anti-Everything has made spoofed accounts that were used to offend other people, made a unilateral decision to send an email to the press and cops, labeling AS as a mental illness, and now he spread a bunch of rumors lying that some one likes them. Guess who is now going to be the prime suspect next time someone tries to pull some sort of stupid BS like this on WP?
