That's familiar. "You think too much!" is commonly accompanied by the assumption/exclamation that I am worrying too much.


Maybe you don't think too much, but maybe others think not enough.

I avoid people all the time. Every day really. I have been doing it my entire life. When my siblings had parties when my parents went out of town, I locked myself in my room with the dogs. (On an unrelated note my siblings made fun of me the first time I threw a party because we drank lemonade, ate pizza bites, and watched a movie. Not their idea of a good time I guess. My parents found out because I forgot to empty the trash and they knew I could eat a whole 90-some box by myself or drink a couple dozen lemonade.)

A lot of it has to do with how bad I am at approaching people. I am so afraid I'll interrupt something or ruin their conversation. When I go to places like a job fair where I have to approach people, I usually have a script rehearsed ahead of time.

Sounds like me.. I am bad at approaching people, and i feel like i don't know what to say.. I can't seem to engage in a conversation without feeling like im interrupting as well.
