I am personally a committed Atheist...but I think Aspies are more likely to be distinguished by the fact that they are more likely to take religion, or not, seriously, and think it out for themselves rather than just default to whatever they are raised with.

I believe in God; however, I never felt comfortable with organized religion. But maybe it´s that "does not do well in a group" kind of thing...

I am a practicing Jew, but don't follow any particular Jewish denomination and don't belong to a synagogue. I tend toward the very traditional in some respects, and the very liberal in others. I'm basically a spiritual person on a Jewish path. I'm not sure the question of whether I believe in G-d or not is really something I can answer, because for me, G-d isn't a noun. It's a verb. So I try to "do G-d" to the best of my ability and my conscience. For myself (and for many other Jews) G-d is the Great Mystery; the most important thing is what we do in the here and now.

I also believe in reincarnation, which is part of Jewish mysticism. It makes the most sense to me. But of course, it's all a guess. I'll find out when I get there.

Living and acting on systems of belief and faith are part of being human. However, I find religion to be completely unsatisfying in that respect. I have no religion, but I respect Pagans and Jews.

I think that this is part of my AS.

I honestly do not follow any organized religion. I believe in the Universe and karma and all of that. I have my own set of other beliefs as well. Again I believe whatever path someone (autistic or not) is meant to follow, is what they should and many times are compelled to follow..

I'm a Christian and I sometimes go to church.

Not all Aspies are alike, and that affects what each person believes in too.

I'm an atheist, but also agnosic, in the manner I believe God may exist, but doesn't want us to believe in Him, so He misleads us. Though from what I see, it is most logical to me not to believe in Him, because even if He does exist, He doesn't want me to believe in Him, since He made it so irrational.

I see a lot of christians on WP. The atheist rate may be higher than somewhere else.

I'd say I'm probably Agnostic.

Sometimes I believe in God, sometimes I don't. It changes almost daily.

I don't believe in religion either, but it's fine with me if other people do. One thing I hate is people telling you what you can and can't believe.

I am a Christian. Used to be a born-again atheist, but God corrected that.

I was raised as a fundamentalist atheist, a very tough religion. I always had very strong spiritual yearnings, though, and had to debrief over time before I could have any kind of relationship with The One Above. We've had to work on our communication issues over the years, and we still struggle with expectations somewhat, but basically, we do all right together.

Religion goes against all my sensibilities. It's too irrational for me to believe in, and my head hurts enough from trying to understand supposedly rational things. I don't seem to be capable of 'faith' without solid proof.

But I am also highly respectful of those who do believe and I believe that freedom to believe in religion is vital, even if I'm not religious myself.

All beliefs in everything require at least a small amount of faith. If you are unable to believe in something if it requires faith then you would have to believe in absolutely nothing.
