Just because the kid is great at spelling doesn't mean he or she has AS

JEEZE!

I guess you never saw the videos, or read the posts, huh? NOBODY said spelling well means you have AS. HECK, the various cities that send people have to feel their person has a good chance. If they get kicked out on a simple word, it could make them look BAD! MOST of those people clearly DON'T have AS! On akela and the bee, it was clear that THOSE contestants didn't have AS. HECK, neither REALLY wanted to be in it for the challenge, etc... either.

Here's the other video I mentioned.

Grown adults having a laugh at the expense of a child who's IQ probably doubles most theirs. The things people find entertaining...

Well, it DOES illustrate how STUPID that "interview" was! SHE did the same sort of thing.

Do people laugh at every guest on the show?

That bee guy sure doesn't speak clear and the interviewer asked him stupid questions.

They try to MILK things for comedy. The bee guy showed how things COULD be. Maybe he was even poking fun at that stupid presenter that did the SAME sort of thing.

Watch the videos. He doesn't pick up on insults or know he is being made fun of which is a good characteristic and he comes off as awkward. His body language is off and the way he talks but he is very friendly. I wasn't surprised when I found out through facebook he actually does have it.

The comments on youtube are so mean:

"I want to beat that [expletive] up"
"Homeschooling does that"
"He is a ret*d/idiot/moron/antisocial/smartass"
"He needs to go to school to learn social skills

(yeah, right, with all the bullying he would experience on a day to day basis, I daresay his social skills would actually decrease if he went to regular school)

So many mean comments :(

there were some better ones

hes not a jerk he has just being put on the spot, and plus perhaps the homeschooling life has kept him sheltered and not having much in the way of social skills, except for maybe with his parents and family

Hahaha, this is pretty funny, but personally I think the kids just confused by the ret*d barraging him with ridiculous questions. The guy wins a cash prize spelling bee, and then this b***h puts him on the spot on national television. I think its hilarious because its a great example of how gay and simply unneeded the "news" has become.

bottom of page 1 when i saw them.
