The feeling of being agoraphobic, as well as whatever other forms of anxiety.

I thought of a few more....

Sleeping on my back! The space around me when I sleep on my back is almost dizzying, and very uncomfortable. I must sleep on my stomach, or side.

I can stand the feeling of my sock bunching up in my shoe, I must remove the shoe and pull my socks up tight.

The sound of people eating grosses me out. The sound of my spouse breathing through his nose while eating grosses me out.

I LOVE having my back tickled, and I'm lucky enough to have someone who'll happily do it nearly every night, however, if he gets distracted by say, the tv while tickling, and ends up going over the same spot again and again, it feels to me like his fingers are burning or seering my skin.

I hate hair hanging in my face.

I can't stand the feeling of sludgy lake bottoms on my bare feet, I'll often wear old runners or watershoes in. Also, lakewater itself freaks me out, if I can't see the bottom I get anxious.

Kids playing, Tv on, boyfriend playing guitar all at the same time makes me quite agitated.

I dislike when I say "Pardon?" to someone, and they repeat themselves without elevating their voice. They'll usually get a much louder "PARDON????" after that.

I LOVE my microfibre couch and throws. My cat loves the throws too, that's where he makes his bread (kneading).

I don't like feeling hot. I need at least one window in our apartment open all year long.

Getting a hair in my mouth almost makes me throw up while trying to fish it out.

Speaking of FISH!... I cannot STOMACH hooking a worm. Touching a worm is bad enough, feeling the fishing hook puncture him is even worse. One time after hooking a worm while fishing with a friend, I got so dizzy I needed to just go sit down and collect myself... he hooked them from that point.

Bees, wasps, & hornets. The sight of one turns me into a monster. If there's one in the livingroom somehow, I see it, I leap up, run to the bedroom, and I can't convince myself to come out until I'm convinced someone has let it out or killed it. The sight of a wasp is the one thing on earth that can make me scream.

Strapples, this is a difficult question to answer however, I'll do my best though.

1..being in a restaurant where a great mass of people are taking loud & at the same time.
2.people wearing either too much perfume or cologne as, it tends to make me unpleasant.
3.The annoying like nature of fluorescent lights at times..

This does it for me at the moment..

LOTION! UGH! I used to be allergic to everything and people would always want to put lotion on me and I'd so much rather have the rash or sunburn or whatever.

Wet clothes

denim

STYROFOAM! Thinking of the feeling of broken styrofoam is nauseating.

there's also this thing that happens, if something metal gets behind something else metal and there are lines that cross each other, like if a fork falls under the burner of an electric stove, that's so disgusting it gives me nightmares and makes me feel totally meltdownish.

Plastic - even the thought of using plastic cups or plates makes me sick.

Really hot weather.

Crowded places - with all the noise and other touching me.

People chewing with their mouth open.

I DESPISE flourescent lighting! Especially if one of them is flickering, this flickering has in the past sent me into full blown panic attacks!

Also, Dal, I have a friend for whom the mere thought of styrofoam makes her nauseated as well... she avoids it like the plague!

For me...

cold
heat
babies crying (I can't even be in the same room as a baby)
kids crying/screaming
being touched
itchy clothing
tight clothing
sudden loud sounds like balloons popping
the sound of the voices(well, more like the tone) of the people on the news (I can't stand it-I leave the room when it's on)
teenagers chatting/giggling/laughing
anyone talking on the phone and suddenly and unexpectedly bursting out laughing
bright lights
people standing too close to me
food with weird textures

anything sticky on me , especially my hands (like pitch or slug slime)
forks or spoons hitting my teeth (the sound and feeling)
people 'accidentally' bumping into me
socks pulled to tight against my toes (all my shoes are too large, so my socks can be loose)

body odours, by themselves, mixed with scented stuff (perfumes, deodorants etc)
music so loud that I can't think

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Cotton wool. Need I say more? AAAAAAAGH!! !!

I get a weird horrid tingling whenever a flting insect flies near to me,

Itching. Being a fromer Hodgkin's patient, I know it all too well,

Feeling physically sick, that also is linked with being a Hodgkin's patient (Thank God for Cyclizine),

The feeling that my hair is being really bushy and curly around my face and head. Hense why I plait it in sections and put extensions on it so it all goes back in a ponytail,

The feeling that I'm doing more with the right side of my body than my left. For example when I'm walking and I come across those bobbled slabs at the edge of padestrian crossings for blind folk, I feel I have to feel equal pressure from the ground through my feet on both sides. It's kinda hard to explain.

I'l think of some more soon.
