Besides AS, I have OCD (pure obsessional type), panic attacks, and Nonverbal Learning Disorder. Which is the worst? The OCD. No doubt about it.

You know, OCD isn't anything special to me, as even though I had the malignant type (housebound for several years), it responded very well to CBT and medication (it's a lifelong disorder, of course, and that it fluctuates in severity, but it can be effectively treated in most cases). AS/AD is far worst and more disabling in my case.

Funny how we experience things differently, even though they have the same name.

Heh, I haven't posted here yet. I don't have an official dx of an ASD, but here are the ones I have heard:

Childhood:
Emotionally Disabled (severe emotional meltdowns almost everyday)
ADHD
Childhood Schizophrenia

Various ones as Adult:
Bipolar with Psychosis
Psychosis NOS
Major Depression with Psychosis
Schizoaffective

I'm moody and crazy, lol
