However, you raise a greater philosophical point -- is it correct to hate something even if it is evil or bad? Hate leads to Suffering. The great Yoda (among others :)) tells us this. By hating something, even if it is bad, do we not do something bad ourselves? Is it not better to shun, pity, or wish to re-educate the violent?

Use caution with hate, lest you become what you despise.
