I was obsessed with snakes from the time I was about 18 months old; when I was 2 I loved the movie 'Rikki-tikki-tavi' and the two snakes, Nag and Nagaina, and I pretended that I WAS a snake quite often. I did find a baby garter snake on the playground once, but my teacher took it away from me. Looking back on it, I'm surprised that she handled the situation so calmly.

Why wouldn't she? They're harmless... (For us, anyway!)

I've never heard about that movie, but now I wanna see it, just from what you wrote!

I'm eternally fascinated by cats and frogs.

However, when it comes to other animals, they go in and out of "style' for me.

I'm grateful to Youtube as it allows me to get in my cute animal fix whenever it strikes.

Recent animal enthusiams have been sea turtles, skinks, and capybaras.

Later this year, I may setup a website especially to house my enthusiams (if I have the time). :)

Usually whatever it is I'm hunting at the time.

When I lived close to the coast, fish.

Now, dogs and cats ("feral").

If I like a creature long enough, I usually end up getting a pet identical or close to it that's affordable to feed.

I like parrots because they are so funny, like my three budgies "Curly", "Larry", and "Moe".
I like dogs, always have, for they are loyal and trainable. Have a weiner dog thing (partially a mutt) that I love to bits, "Sherry".
I adore stingrays but settled for three goldfish named Cyanide (all gold), Lithium (gold with white speckles), and Napalm (reddish gold). GOLDFISH OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION!

Oh... and my totally awesome ant farm. I've always had ant farms, but they were usually much smaller than the one I have now. Ants are so intriguing in their hidden tunnel worlds doing who knows what. If ants ever take over the earth, they better not eat me because I've been feeding the things lettuce and toast for years. ingrateful bugs.

However, at one time I was really into insects.

Rottweiler dogs, as I've lived all my life with them.

I guess technically I am also obsessed with cockroaches... but not in a good way. They are the spawn of Satan.

white tigers

I used to collect them, especially the stuffed toys. They are a sign of good luck for me.

I have a recurring obsession with all animals, but I tend not to focus on any particular one.

White tigers are gorgeous. I think Lynx point Siamese cats closely resemble them.
