At least you're seeing some grey areas now.
Just watched this vid clip of Gary V on FB and thought it was appropriate to share here:

Although I'm not quite so sure he's correct on saying "DNA," as I used to be the pessimistic type, and now I'm the optimistic type - and I most certainly didn't change my DNA. (I think) I changed my guts (literally, bacteria, probiotics) & now I have the "intestinal fortitude," as they say (more truthfully than they realize) to strive towards bigger, better, goals and think that I can actually accomplish them.
Anyways, watch the clip about reality & perspectives.

I'm trying to do paid surveys and joined a focus group as well. Let's see what happens.
And, I did notice probiotics were sold at kroger in the health food section.

Anything is worth a try, but be aware that many “paid surveys,” are internet scams that collect valuable data to sell to marketing corporations but never actually pay people for their time doing them. Either that or they pay a fraction of minimum wage for the time required to do them. Still, give it a shot and find out! Just be aware so that you can recognize when to stop doing it if it’s not paying off enough, or at all.
They’re sold in that section because they’re healthy! I’ve read that in China and Russia, every time antibiotics are prescribed, so are probiotics to help rebalance the gut after the course of antibiotics. Meanwhile, here, I’ve had antibiotics prescribed dozens of times - sometimes for YEARS at a time - and I can recall only ONCE that a pharmacist recommended that I take probiotics afterwards. IMO this is a HUGE gap in our North American medical system.

I do have a bit of good news. I'm doing the social messenger evaluator job tomorrow. I only have to evaluate 20 ads which should be easy. I get 9 bucks for it and if I do it 7 days per week its 63 bucks per week which is 252 bucks per month. Cool huh?

Preventive medicine and preventative lifestyle is something I feel we lack a lot of ground on in Europe too. For example, acupuncture is used preventively rather than reactively in Chinese culture. For a state of overall wellbeing and health. I have never felt better than when I had regular five elements acupuncture. In general culturally we appear so reluctant to deal with health issues (physical or mental) until they become unavoidable. When I was in China, Vietnam, places like that, it was amazing to see how people were out in the parks in the morning before work doing tai chi, playing badminton etc. Often because living conditions were very cramped and intergenerational, communal space was seen as a real asset.

Yup! Another thing I did was this. It requires me to use my android phone. Typing in it is cumbersome. I downloaded an android phone emulator called bluestacks and I can do what i need to do on my computer.
I hate being constrained.
Have you ever heard of the book "The Theory of Constraints," by Dr. Eliyahu M. Goldratt?
It's a novel about statistics. It's about the industrial engineering theory of constraints and how to manage them in any manufacturing/production system. Instead of being a dry boring stats book, it's a novel with fully developed characters used to teach the theory in a very captivating and entertaining way. It's one of the most valuable business books I've ever read - and it applies to other things in life besides manufacturing/production. I've applied it to resolving my own health issues, for instance.

I will look at this when I get a chance. I told you about this new. All have to do is review 20 ads on facebook messenger per day. I get $9.00 for it. It is so freaking easy and I think I'm a decent analyst and writer. So, there ya go.
But, I'm starting to realize more about myself. I think I want to be my own boss so I can be myself. Doing stuff like this enables me to do that and also my aspie cousin suggested I make a game as well and he sent me some websites. I'm going to try it and see what happens.

Maybe you're on to something about probiotics and foot soaks. Your solution is out of the box and unconventional. But, I will say to progress we sometimes need out of the box and unconventional. I refuse to close my mind off to differing possibilities. We do need your approach double blind tested though. Autism/Aspergers may have many and differing causes and you may be only part of a particular subset your methods work on.
Now, with that being said let us make the assumption your methods are legit. You didn't get more positive or optimistic at least not directly. A lot of self-help gurus believe one can simply will himself to optimism and positivity. No, you can't. What you did which I commend you for was you found and took steps that led you to be more positive and optimistic. You found the issue within yourself and applied concrete solutions to yourself. These things led you to be more functional and more positive things started happening in your life. Ergo, you became more optimistic and positive and people responded better to you.

As rigid as you can be at times, it's rather nice that you're open minded about new info & possibilities. If you have any questions about anything specific feel free to pm before trying things out for yourself if you want any clarification. Feel free to post publicly about anything you try, too, and whether it had any benefit to your or not. I'm not a doctor, but I can tell you what I did & I obviously won't recommend anything that could harm anyone - but obviously you need to know for yourself if you're allergic to certain foods or herbs/plants etc. All of the most basic simplest stuff I'd recommend to anyone is very common herbs/spices/oils etc vs. strange unknown medicines from far off lands like one might find in a Chinese herb shop and wonder just what you're supposed to do with this bit of dehydrated animal organ or something.

You're saying I can be rigid at times? What do you mean in this case? How am I being rigid?

You prefer logic, yes/no black & white type thinking and answers to things. I meant you’re not being so rigid, you’re seeing the grey area.

Concerning:
Treating Autism by Targeting the Gut
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2017/06/170619101834.htm
You asked:
Do you have any contact information for the Dr. Li mentioned in this article? I'd like to share what I've learned and done as it may accelerate his/her learning curve & result in better treatments for patients.
Well the full scientific article and follow up options are as follows:
The Gut Microbiota and Autism Spectrum Disorders
https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fncel.2017.00120/full
And for further reading the five pages of links previously mentioned; that I was unable to provide via URL before ~ but can now as follows:
Autism-gut-flora
https://www.sciencedaily.com/search/?keyword=Autism-gut-flora#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=Autism-gut-flora&gsc.page=1

Thanks for that. I’ll click and see if there’s contact info on either of those sites. I’ve started reading the full publication on a US National Medicine database or something and have found that Dr. Li works in paediatrics at Peking First University Hospital in Beijing, China. Unfortunately there’s no contact info listed and a different Dr. Li in their Faculty of Life Sciences does not know this Dr. Li as per his email reply. I have several other contact info sources to google, but so far the only website with a “click to contact” sort of link to message Dr. Li requires that you be a university researcher to do so. So, if I exhaust all other options, I’ll have a researcher friend attempt to make contact on my behalf. I do intend to contact & communicate with Dr. Li and his team, so, I will.
Thanks again,
Richard
