I've done it about 4 times I think, on different days, to account for mood variance. My scores range from 36 to 42.

I do think that the symptoms and severity of what constitutes "AS" wax and wane somewhat and at odd moments or periods of time the difference between one extreme and another would be quite contrasting.

33 the first time, 38 the second. Initially, I threw down a bunch of "slighties" but went back and thought each question through a bit more.

On this systemizing quotient I got 55.

On this empathy quotient I got 21.

I have done the EQ test now and I got EQ 16 and SQ 110, which means 'Extreme Systemizing'!

This makes sense to me too.

I scored 36 in the Autism-Spectrum Quotient, I guess I'm in the middle.

Okay, I've seen people refer to the EQ test and I've always considered myself to be fairly empathetic. Nothing overboard, I'm not going to fall prostrate over someone else's problems, but I will try and help if I can. It was one area that I thought was something of a strength, but I like quizes so I googled one up and took it.

18?!

No wonder folks at work think I'm cold-hearted... I'm going to have to think about this...

I'm a bit upset, now... :(

Regards,

Patricia

I found out that 80% of AS/HFA scored below 30 on the Empathy Quotient, and 80% of AS/HFA scored above 32 on the AQ (2% of controls scored above 32).

I feel bad because I scored 6 on the EQ, and 36 on the AQ. I don't think I have no emotions, just not good at expressing them. I heard that empathy and compassion are two different things, and AS/HFA tend to score differently on these two areas.
