I have asked questions else where and have not got answered yet. This may sound like complaining I am not trying to complain. I really just don't want to waste My money that is all. Would You want to waste Your money most likely not right.

I am not trying to take it out on Alex or the Wrong Planet Site. It sound may that I am impatient and demanding if I was impatient and demanding I would pm Alex or whoever but I don't. I believe Alex wants this site to be a haven for all. Even I have made some suggestions here or there too.

This site is one big family for sure. I am not trying to run this site down either. As a family We might have our differences to over come and over come them We shall in the end. This site has been and is informative and friendly.

So redvelvet if I sound that I am complaining or something like that then I am sorry then.

you whined about the members list, he gave you a link to the members list and pointed out it's still operational. Quit your whining, alex isnt accountable to you, and chances are you don't have all this money you claim you are willing to donate. Seems more like a wild goose chase with the purpose of attention whoring to me.

Maybe I'm being too aggressive, but this is how I think. Backing this up is your arrogance which I've seen in many of your past posts.

For the record, the deliberate incorrect capitalisation gets on my nerves.

Just I will be Who I am nothing more or less than that. Would like to see My Bank Account? I need not to lie about that at all. Though You do not have to believe Me what so ever. I have never said Alex accountable to Me or anybody here at this site. The original posts just to know what to the Membership List after they where taken off. Alex did say he was going to fix them Feb. 01. The only thing he was to moved them elsewhere only. I never thought this would get all of this attention when I first started this thread. You can think of Me as being arrogant I really don't care what You think about Me. For who knows how arrogant You are. For I will say whatever I think needs to be said in the end. You must have read of My 2400 posts to think I am arrogant huh. The capitalisation is how I type a habbit hard to break.

You can 'whine' as much as you want here Kev, I don't have a problem with it. I think you've bought up some interesting points. I always find you to be an honest and disinterested (neutral) person. I wonder if the same is true of some of your detractors.

(Bows to Postperson and Kevv): I'd like to return to the original topic: Where is WP headed?
I see ads that are obnoxious to people with sensory issues (umm that would be most of us), I see good level-headed moderators either getting booted out or resigning, I see there are privacy issues with the private messages, I see members' concerns being overlooked or dismissed, and I see people allowed to be abusive towards others without recourse.

This post will probably be deleted, but I will speak my mind for the common good. 3700 plus people have registered here, and it does not appear to me that those people are getting what they hoped for: a safe community for aspies. So sad.

Would it be possible to have an option where we can select what type of adds we can see? I like those half naked adds, but then again i AM a pervert ^_^.

maybe I haven't been here long enough, since last December, so I don't claim to know all that goes on, and I'm not that observant. But I have only noticed good friends having a good time, introverted people being able to talk and make online friends, some have even been able to meet in real life.
I have seen mods like BeeBee taking good care of the people here, and I have seen Alex taking care to the best of his ability of our safety. we have people like Grooveydruid giving good advice and he has sent me pms with advice.
I have seen play between members.
surely the members list and other issues you have kevv do not mean much compared to this. It's the members that are important, and it's here that the members meet.
Someone mentioned how many members we have, but we only have some that are regular members, who post and live here. The others just visit, keep up to date on whats going on and never or hardly post.
Kevv you remind me of a child in class who wants all the attention so complains about the sun coming through the window, or the seat isn't comfortable etc. If you really have that sort of money, buy the new shade for the window and get the new chairs etc that Alex needs to make this site better.

Two things Redvelvet. One, about your opinions of Kevv. He is on the spectrum and you are not. Perhaps a little more understanding and a little less judgement would be helpful.

aylissa, yes I just found that, it was quite interesting, i imagined a group of people arguing about what they thought to be right for a site they don't run. I understand that some people pay, and I understand that all love the site. But reading Pms, etc, I was lost, I commented my views on this at the end of that post.
I understand that kevv is on the spectrum, but his also an intelligent man, and his avater doesn't do him any credit, like a bull in a china shop. and thats the way he comes across to me.
Alex has said his bit and it's up to everyone else to get a grip on what they really want from this site, and to stop their squabeling. Surely Alex can choose who to have as mods and who not for what ever reason he chooses. It's his site. he is the one responsible for it, he can choose what he thinks is best for it. I'm sorry if I come across hard and harsh, But many here are on the spectrum and you're all far more intelligent then I will ever be, but this seems to me to be childish.

Kev is not a bull in a china shop. These issues hearken back to the abrupt commercialization (and the choice of advertisements) on WP and the vague and contradictory reasons given for this occurence; they hearken back to abusive posts and members not being handled appropriately by the (overwhlemed and mismanaged) mods; it hearkens back to the guidelines for site use being dangerously inexact. And mixed to the gall is that the commercialization is linked to the site's publicity garnered by the William Freund tragedy. In short, some of us see the capitalization of a tragedy, and not a capitalization that will benefit the community here, but rather, an individual.

It is true that this is Alex's site: he can do with it as he pleases, ultimately, but the indirect answers and now the revelation concerning PMs (which IS a big deal-- if PMs here are open to being read it should be PLAINLY STATED as a warning before anyone uses this option) have been distressing to many of us who are deeply attached to the site. Believe me, go to any message board and say the admin is reading PMs. Then watch what happens (I'm not actually suggesting you do this, just trying to illustrate my point).

A memberlist is an integral aspect of any message board. Kev isn't making a big deal about nothing, and all he wanted was an answer about where it had gone, why it had gone, and when it would return.

I feel terribly for all involved-- for Alex, for the community. Alex has too much pressure on his shoulders for a 19 year old college student. He should delegate administrative powers to someone else while maintaining ownership of the site.

I do not know what problem You may have with Me but sounds that You do have some problem with Me in the end. I am not trying to sound that I am complaining but you may think whatever You may think of Me that is alright whatever You may think Me. You are right the members are important for they make this site for what it is in the end. All that I have brought up are issues that may need to be addressed to make this site better in the end. If this reminds You of Me being a child that just wants attention I You are wrong in this for I do not do this to get attention. Even Alex is looking at creating a Board of Directors so even He does not have full control like what is happening here at the Wrong Planet. This would give this site transparency that is needed to fix many of the problems that are here. You see I am a Idealist more a complainer as You paint Me as. I even value Your Ideals even now. This is a new avatar that I have found and like it for what it is if that effect You will then it will it is just a avatar any way. I know that You have a high regard for Alex even I do to. Alex though needs to give up some control and delegate it to people to fix the problems. He going college and running this site at the same time it can not be that easy. Alex has developed a great site that needs to go He is a visionary but not a very good manager though. Developing and Managing are two different things in the end. He keeps having problems and gets to involved where He should allow the moderators to do there job moderate.

I am sure redvelvet even You will find this as complaining then so be it then.

I had pm(ed) You about You creating a Board of Directors. I am very interested that You are willing to truly do that for this site. Do You truly mean to do this or did You just throw that out there for know reason. I am trying to be very honest with You I would have liked if You would respond to this for I asked this in "the truth" thread but You locked it for what reasons. I was not trying to attack You I was trying to get You to answer that what I asked in the end that is all that I was trying to do. You need to delegate some of Your control so this site of Wrong Planet can operate better for all of its members. There is nothing wrong in letting that happen. You are letting all of this get the best of You. You read what I have said in "The truth..." thread if You have or not it is up to You to do so. This is not a attack on You or should even be consider as such either. You need to start to delegate some of the daily operations of the Wrong Planet I think. That would be for the best of the Wrong Planet Community and its Members. I am concerned by what is going on here at this site of the Wrong Planet; as a concerned Member of this site the Wrong Planet needs You to truly decide what is best for it. It is up to You to do that know one else can make You to decide it but You.

A Board of Directors would go along way in correcting these problems at the Wrong Planet I think for the Best of this Site and its Members. If You please yet answer this I would be grateful at that.
