I'm quite emotional too and sometimes I express this by crying or getting angry/frustrated. Some people say it's a lack of communication skills. But what if you can't find words to communicated your feelings or they are so large there is nothing else left?

I don't cry very often, but sometimes I have certain periods of time where I feel more sensitive and it's easier to make me cry.

I can remember crying over a cookie advert once.

Depends.
In some circumstances, I cry easily.
But in other circumstances, I don't.

When I saw the video of Parris Jackson crying over the loss of her father(Michael Jackson), I just hold it in and refused to cry. After the video the news anchor said "If you didn't cry during that video, you are hardcore" 8). Although its not every time I win a battle against crying. Sometimes when I'm overwhelmed or made a mistake that got me disappointed or angry reactions, I lose and the tears start coming. When that happens, I go into solitude away from everyone else, cause I don't want them to see shedding tears. Although I don't like crying, one of my friends said that "its not a sign of weakness, its a sign of strength". I could not have said it better myself.

I wouldn't say so. I only cry when:

-something sad happens to me or my family, maybe friends
-I get really angry (happens once every one or two months, typically)
-I get injured badly

My eyes teared up the other day but it wasn't enough to spill over the lashes. I cried one time this year but other than that I haven't cried in years. I feel like crying every so often but it just won't come. My tears are broken and my emotions are just dull I think. Meh.

I used to cry more often, but now I would have to be in complete anguish to cry. I don't cry when I'm injured unless it's unbearably painful. At funerals I usually just frown and have a serious expression on my face which is how I look most of the time. Last time I cried was months ago because I was remembering how happy and care free I used to be back when I had friends. Now I just spend all my free time on my computer and playing video games because I have nothing better to do.

Yeah, quite often.

Yes, too easily. I'm crying now, from the fact that nobody responds to me on facebook.

I find myself tearing up for odd reasons. Sometimes I'll just hear something or have something flash into my head that feels poignant or like an epiphany. Often I don't feel particularly depressed or upset at these times though.

I don't cry too easily when I'm really upset or depressed. I just get really edgy and have dark angry thoughts. I'm like the explosive type of volcano. My emotion and tears don't flow freely until after I build up over a long period and then explode.

Same.

Prior to high school, the slightest thing could make me cry and freak out. Entering high school, I've had to force not to.

Maybe bottling it up led to more problems...

Interesting. I wouldn't say I cry easily, but partially perhaps because I hate it. I will do anything to stop myself. I just can't handle that situation at all. I'd rather bleed than cry any day.

Yes! I have a lot of hormones though, and I've been that way from a young age. It's hard when your family doesn't understand you though. I'm sorry you are going through what you are going through. *Online hugs and love* It's okay, you can always come here (this site) if you want to rant. It's been working for me.

Hey, I love Avatar too! I just watched it yesterday, and talk about a cry fest! I was all alone, so I just bawled. When they get their Home Tree ripped down, oh my gosh. Maximum tear flowage! I also have something in common with Jake Sully, and how he wanted to be someone else and live in a different world. That movie is so awesome in so many different ways.

I cry easily. But I never cry among people (anymore) because it's embarrassing.
