Viscerotonia: "a pattern of temperament that is marked by predominance of social over intellectual or physical factors and exhibits conviviality, tolerance, complacency, and love of food"

I found the test itself very easy to take, unlike a lot of other tests, but I also found it woefully inaccurate about me. "Predominance of social over intellectual?" No. Not even close! Anyone that knows me well would agree. I know, because I've heard all of my life the total opposite. Tolerance, complacency and love of food are all accurate, but "conviviality?" NO WAY! Conviviality is a highly social trait and far from describes me accuarately.

Somatonia: a pattern of temperament that is marked by predominance of physical over social or intellectual factors, aggressiveness, love of physical activity, vigor, and alertness

This couldn't more wrong. Not a single thing about Somatonia is anything like me at all.

Cerebrotonia - a pattern of temperament that is marked by predominance of intellectual over social or physical factors and by exhibition of sensitivity, introversion, and shyness

By all outward appearances I am shy (by NT standards, though I know it's more complicated than that. It's not shyness, it's just plain being tired of constant misunderstandings and simply wanting to avoid them). I would much rather read or watch documentaries than arrange or attend social events. I'm not into outdoor activities at all, am somewhat sensitive, and spend more time in my own head than anywhere else, thus am introverted.

Yet I scored lowest in Cerebrotonia?

Needless to say, I found the test highly inaccurate.

At the top of the test page it says, "Because of the brevity of the test, the results should not be taken too seriously!"

I, for one, would suggest heeding that advice. It's a horrible test! :roll:

I agree. My scores similarly totally did not reflect the type of person I am, and left me feeling very confused. I therefore conclude the test is worthless. I didn't even vote because it isn't a true reflection of me.

Some people feeling that its inaccurate. There is a clear pattern trend though... I think it is an accurate test over all but since there ar enot many questions etc. It is not accurate for all.

Do you guys agree with your results? I'm not sure I do....
I certainly do not agree with my results:

Viscerotonia = 19
Somatotonia = 20
Cerebrotonia = 9

"Viscerotonia - a pattern of temperament that is marked by predominance of social over intellectual or physical factors and exhibits conviviality, tolerance, complacency, and love of food".

"Somatotonia - a pattern of temperament that is marked by predominance of physical over social or intellectual factors, aggressiveness, love of physical activity, vigor, and alertness".

"Cerebrotonia - a pattern of temperament that is marked by predominance of intellectual over social or physical factors and by exhibition of sensitivity, introversion, and shyness".

...I scored lowest in 'Cerebrotonia'. I've gone through my life undiagnosed and mistaken as "painfully shy" and have always been more focused on my academic pursuits, rather that socialising and building/maintaining friendships. 'Somatotonia' would describe me to some degree, as I do like physical activity; I used to play football (soccer) and chose PE as one of my GCSE subjects. However, that is not a part of my personality- they were just leisure and childhood pursuits. 'Viscerotonia' was my second highest score. This score pretty much makes sense as people have told me that I have a very friendly personality, and I do love food!...although, I believe my results should've been more "rounded" and equal- Viscerotonia and Cerebrotonia should've been more closely matched and Somatotonia should've been my lowest scores i.e. V approx. 21, C approx. 19, and S approx. 17.

I think I must have answered the questions incorrectly... yep, used 3 and 1 the wrong way around. :lol:

Correct results:

Viscerotonia = 14 (medium)
Somatotonia = 14 (medium)
Cerebrotonia = 21 (high)
