Troll getting thrown around (misused) just because someone has poor spelling or just because their opinions are too different or because the person is different than lot of others on the forum.

The sound of people dumping coins into those CoinStar machines. We have one at work and if I'm working at a register anywhere near it I get super anxious and almost lightheaded.

here's one for the cotton squeaky lovers.

There's a scene in A Perfect Storm. Either Mark Whalberg or George Clooney is wearing a really thick cotton poly blend sweater and you can tell it's the type that would squeak a lot if squished together. Imagine if it was wet - like it gets in the movie. Can you imagine the terrible squeaking that would make?

God yes. They make a heck of a racket, don't they - and it never seems to stop!

8O 8O Probably, but I'd rather not try if you don't mind...
Just thinking about those squeaky noises from cotton wool makes me shiver.

gilbert gottfried and fran drescher together with Harvey Fierstein, make for a terrible tinny trifecta of nasty nasal nattering and hoarse honking.

This. There are certain things that I can't touch, or more specifically rub, such as denim, or un-conditioned towels and sheets.

Textures of various sorts:

Popsicle sticks on my tongue or teeth. Just thinking about it stresses me.
Certain fabrics or dusty, chalky or gritty material on my hands. I can't wash enough afterwards. Just nasty.

Honking cars.

I am unnerved by the sound of sharp fingernails on a blackboard, also by the feel or sound of contact with Styrofoam. I also dislike it when people mimic Mr. Bean in a jocular manner.

Touching matte wall paint, or seeing someone else touch it. Not as bad if their hand/arm/whatever is placed on it and doesn't move, but sliding it across... just thinking about it hurts my skin!

I'm not enthusiastic about hugs, but I can't handle hugs where the other person's face is turned toward with their face in the neck or against the face. Feels very, very invasive and I pull away without meaning to. Even though I explain this to people and ask please don't be offended, just turn head the other way, most people don't hug me much anymore. :(

Hair on my hands. I used to shed a lot and it would make me shudder whenever I'd get a small clump in my hand.

For some time, I couldn't handle raw meat when cooking. I ate vegetarian for awhile because of this.

oh, that made me think: frozen meat. or, anything frozen, but stuff that tend to cling to my skin (because of my own water freezing and getting attached to it i guess? you know the feeling) oh no. I'm at the point now where i can't handle frozen meat other than using a paper towel.

Luckily I haven't had to deal with frozen meat often. I can only imagine!

For me, it's the wetness and the overall texture of the raw meat that bothers me. And the fact that it's clinging onto me. Eek! I still freak out if anything sticks to my skin, so I have to take little breaks to wash my hands (at least when preparing anything messy). xD Then I can continue about my business.

Have you tried putting the meat in vinegar, by the way? Sometimes that helps clean the meat of its slimy texture. It helped me a bit, anyhow.
