When people say the word "poot" to describe the sound
Also adverse to the word "pregnant" and all the forms it comes in, ever since my partner and I started discussing kids

the word "placenta" :eew:

Awkward. It's one of those words which embodies what it means. The -wkw- consonant cluster sounds awkward in itself.

i don't think many people actually say all of -wkw- when saying the word, unless they're saying it rather slowly.
i just say äk-word. i find word final -nts to be an äkword consonant cluster also.
