Does anyone here have a hard time saying I love you?

I find myself saying it in the third person allot. For instance "Daddy loves you" to the kids.

For some reason I find it much easier in the third person?

I am the opposite, if I love someone I want to tell them all the time. Its like if I don't and something bad happened I would be devastated in case they didn't know. I tell my friend I love her all the time, most nights. We laugh about it, because it's crazy really. But I have to tell her all the time.
